If you set the reversing to B instead of O, the system WILL work. A call for heat will give you cooling and a call for cooling will give you heat. Backwards, yes.
Had an Alliance compressor that is being replaced as I type. It will get the new Red Trane branded equivalent compressor. It's only 4 years old. The specs show it having a Climatuff but that was incorrect also. Had a 'Hard Start" kit installed 6 months ago but the compressor began buzzing like crazy and I had it swapped. (Not cheap even with warranty).
@@themoderntradesmen9352ok. Would you say the technical part is hard, like installing and all of that. I’m considering doing it for my career. I would like to talk more about it with you!
Perfect instructions and demonstration as I was able to increase heating blower speeds from factory default settings and not requiring a service technician. Thank you so much!
@@themoderntradesmen9352 well i dont know if they rich but wanted to know if i was missing something. Sometimes there might be something i am overlooking
Replace? That's a joke, right? It is probably grounded due to a sloppy electrical job. That thing is new. Some hvac hack thought he could do the electrical the last time. Call an electrician this time and save 10k.
No the electric windings on the electric motor inside the compressor coating is burned off on the wire and is touching the case usually due to a surge or lightning strike
HVAC companies are scams. Learn to braze, pressure test, decay test, hook up simple electrical, etc. it’s not rocket science. Installed my own furnace and ac years ago and it’s leak free doing fine. Saved thousands.
that's sounds more like they may be pushing you to go with the lennox, just FYI the bosch in a 4 ton configuration are between 14k to 18k depending on workload
@@themoderntradesmen9352 Lennox is also 410a I believe the Bosch is 454 or they might have 32. But the Lennox will cost about 2000 for a 3 ton, I believe the Bosch is around 4500
