Thank you for the comment! It is much appreciated! In order to split the videos and create multiple animations in unique spots, we used Adobe After Affects to projection map each animation into custom areas. There are multiple ways to do this, but the easiest way I could wrap my head around the project was to create two separate video files, one with the AtmosFX pumpkin files, and the other with the Singing Pumpkin files. I created a 45 minute mp4 in the order I wanted them to play, then just created an opposite video with the other pumpkins based on time slots, so they would play opposite of each other during the 45 minute loop. I then took those two videos and projection mapped as needed for the overall display. Being that I had created two properly timed videos, I was able to place them in the timeline on Adobe After Effects without worrying about when or where each video started…they both start at the same time, and it didn’t matter which specific pumpkin i was mapping…not sure sure if that makes sense or not.
There are a few really good tutorials on YT about how to do this as well… maybe one day I’ll try and create a video on our specific process for our display also.
Thank you for the kind words! Unfortunately I am not selling the file, however the basic pumpkin files can be purchased from atmosfx or thesingingpumpkin. These will get you a ready to project file, you’ll just need to customize by using editing software to create a sequence that you like! We just took it a step further by projection mapping multiples of these files and adding in our own music between the animations to create a much fuller show. Thanks again, let me know if you have any other questions!
Just wondering tho, why dare you using the f440 fc? Would the 428 be enough? Im currntly still listing for parts to build the acrobrat, nice flying nevertheless
Im using fc stack from xjb145 (think its the f428 stack) in my acrobrat with emax 1606 4000 kv motors rotorx 3044 props with no issues, 650mah cnhl battery
+RavageBullet I'm not really sure still... I just rebuilt the Guppy but haven't had a chance to take it back up yet. I never really thought about the LVC, mainly because the first twitch was about 10 seconds into the flight on a fresh battery. I think it did it about 4 times during the flight, and always when I was turning left...so I have no idea still. I'll definitely keep it in mind when I start trying to troubleshoot
