Great to meet you today Cory @ BMW Toronto. This footage is epic stuff. Super high quality. Hope to see roads like these with my newly acquired R1250GS Adventure. Be well.
Pleasure to meet you today!!! Thank you for your comments, getting out on the open road in twisties with your BMW is a must! Hope to connect again in the future! Enjoy that trophy!!!
Your Videos are a Art form! I have ridden 62 years and I can tell you Dudes are expert Riders. But your Videos go beyond that! There like the very things I would be interested and log in my memory bank so I feel like I was along and cant thank you enough for that!!!
Thanks for the comment. We get bugged for that sometimes but medium and high speeds that’s how we feel as though we are in control and have more options if something goes wrong. A couple X racers are in our group and we all subscribe to the Lee Parks school of riding.total. m.totalcontroltraining.net/
So, Cory, what’s planned for next year. We are thinking of revisiting our old French trips. Route Napoleon, Nyons to Serres, and down to the south.. there is a wonderful road into Gex (the col de la faucille).. Morez to Gex.. Then on to the Verdon Gorge.
Well after 27 years of riding the Alps and 2023 being my last year of doing so, I'll start riding more of our non-technical roads in North America. Now to find some roads with some curves here.
Nice roads indeed and the guy trying to hang off is an ex racer who subscribes to the Lee Parks school of riding and physics. Lee Parks | Total Control Training m.totalcontroltraining.net/about/lee-parks
@@Itsthejourneynotthedestination you seem to do a lot off off-road maybe read up on Total Control riding and understand everyone has a style of riding, and his style has ensured his arse has been safe while riding. Less lean angle, increased contact patch at speeds reduces risk…. At mid speed to higher speeds. Cheers.
@@coryatkinsmoto just watched this again, it's a brilliant video but again the guy hanging off is comedy gold. He's not going fast enough to merit it. 10.03 is a great example, he's on the brakes too much it pushes him wide when he should have been back on the gas, yet he's handing off like Valentino ffs 🤣
Hi Cory, do you by any chance still have a copy of your route for this trip? I'm going in a couple of weeks and I would love to visit some of these places.. Thanks. Rob.
Hi Robert… I actually don’t as it was wiped accidentally off my computer. If you give me a sense of the area you will be in and around I can give you some insight. We started in Berchtesgaden and went to Hallstatt and then towards Vienna as there’s some nice roads. That said let me take a look at my old Garmin Zumo and see if I have any on that device.
Beautiful tour but what I don't like is your curve lines because they are not safe! If a bus comes around a corner (where you don't see around the corner) your head and your bike will get hit! Second, hang off technique on public road is not advisable, for safety reasons too.. ride safe!
Thanks for your note. The video is deceiving as we knew there was no oncoming traffic and would go wide to get video. Believe me I don’t want to get smoked by a bus . Everyone has a style of riding and the hang off is for safety reasons as taught for years by the Total Control School . m.totalcontroltraining.net/
@@coryatkinsmoto Yes, Grass Lake is at the north end of Kashagawigamog, and is very small. Where you are is north Kashagawigamog. The other lakes are Head Lake (where Haliburton is), Sawyers, and Canning. Anyways, great video.
Cory, I was there in Austria on my bike as well... At the same time... Didn't see you though... 😅... We popped into Italy and then back through Austria and Germany and then France and back home... Where did you start and finish your trip?
Hi Robert we went through Austria, Slovenia, than based ourselves in Cortina and Bormio and then a quick Jaunt up to the Black Forest in Germany making it a great 14 days…used Munich as start and end of the trip
@@coryatkinsmoto We did the Black Forest as well and Nurburgring and Eifel national park….. I’m going to try and go again next week. It will be the last opportunity for good weather I think for this year….
No, this is a Motorcycle tour using a drone for pictures to show off the nice landscapes. Riders like that as you will see from the comments. That is all. You seem a little cranky today so don’t be a jackass and spread your negativity to other people… Thanks
I climbed that road the same week! Congratulations for the video, I loved seeing again the route from a drone view. I already want to return next year, but... on motorcycle!
Fantastic video guys! Wow! I am trying to take my sons through that same area. DO you guys have a map you followed? My goal was trying to get from Munich through ALps to Lake Como then haul it to Lourdes, France then over the Pyrenees to Barcelona? Looks awesome!
Guy riding like he is in circuit … you trying to impress somebody???? I would be impressed by the number of stops and how you can show to enjoy a ride like that ….
Thank you for your comment! Wasn’t the nicest day when we were there but Im returning later in the summer guiding a tour group from my Country around that area. Cheers
looks like nothing more than a race. I wasn't sure if you were going to make most corners. What's the point of a video if your not going to tell us anything. Watch( Got 2 Go) and learn something
Thanks Claude for your insight but looks can be deceiving … we actually raced at Nuremberg later that week. Just so I know for next time…What should I be telling you in a video to learn something as you say. Cheers, knee down!
Awesome Video, just get pass the music in the beginning... No offense... Just not my thing. But the video is Superb... Five Stars... Absolutely Breathtaking Views. Thanks for Sharing.
great video and brilliant route. Your friend leaning off his bike was very funny and made me giggle all the way through, not sure who taught him that weird tip but it isn't normal at all
His style! Check out Lee Parks “Total Control” for more insight on the hang off as it relates to physics and contact patch for optimum safety control. May look weird but there’s a reason. Cheers
