So satisfying when the paint pops again and you can see all the flecks in the paint. Great job on the L405. Shame it was so neglected previously; these cars deserve more respect from their owners
Nice job. My 2015 L405 SDV8 Range Rover is on 100k and is nowhere near as dirty. But it does a paint correction & ceramic coat every couple of years. It too lives in a rural area and what with horses and towing duties gets pretty filthy. The V8's are pretty good, it's the SDV6 that has more issues. The key with them is to do preventative maintenance and ignore the long service intervals, I change my oil at 6k miles and it has never let me down.
Do you measure the clear coat thickness prior to cutting? I have an LR4 in similar condition and i'm curious how thick LR clear is on average and relative firmness of the clear vs say American or Japanese vehicles.
Thats nothing more than a front end paint and blend thru the doors,shit brand of paint too one of the cheapest on the market. Give it a year and it will be delaminating
