Welcome to the Jeanneau America RU-vid channel. This channel is the only official channel for Jeanneau in North America. We post videos that not only show the sailboats and powerboats we build but also how our boats are used and enjoyed by our owners. We hope you find these videos both entertaining and educational to watch. Enjoy!
Very nice. I was at the 2023 Annapolis boat show and saw this boat. Well, I saw the line for the boat. This was one of the more popular boats at the show. I didn't get on. Perhaps this year if it is there again.
Very Nice! 3 cabin layout? 2 heads? What is on the other side of the dinghy garage? I know the master is on one side, but assuming that the garage is centered in the boat, there is another large space like the one Ms. Guiader was lounging in. Or is that where the master cabin head is located? What is the draft on that particular boat? 110 or 220 volt (European) wiring on the boat?
Thanks so much for your comment and questions. This particular boat features a master cabin aft w/ private head and stand-up shower. It also has 2 guest cabins forward, each with their own head and shower, so 3 cabins/ 3 heads total. The dinghy garage is not centered. The master bed is on the starboard side of it and there is a nice settee to port. The boat is set up with North American specs which includes a 110V system. This particular boat has a shoal draft keel and draws 6'11".
One of the coldest and least appealing interiors I've ever seen on a yacht. What color is the? Clay mud grey? The wood working (most likely not wood) looks like an apprentice did it. What a far cry from the yachts, even production yachts, of 20 to 40 years ago. Thanks but no thanks.
Hi Robert, thanks for the question. We haven't yet created an official listing for the boat but if you reach out to Catherine Guiader at cguiader@jeanneau.com, she can send you all the particulars and answer any questions you may have. Thanks again for your question and for subscribing to our channel!
I saw this at the Annapolis show and was not impress with the interior it looks like a layout with office furniture from Ikea.Hope they will go back to the old style that we all love and enjoyed
Have to agree, John and Kristina have done a fantastic job highlighting the features of the JY 55 while simultaneously taking us all on a great adventure through the Med! A big thumbs up to Kristina’s Travels!
Nice job, Paul. We're still loving our walk-around design. The SO440 is perfect for us since we mostly sail with just the two of us but certainly, we would stick with the Sun Odyssey walk-around design if we stepped up in size.
Thank you Tom and Karen! You have a great boat there with the SO 440! And what great adventures you have been on, from the Med to Northern Norway!! Outstanding!
Brilliant tour Paul and Catherine!! ❤🙌 No wonder why she’s won so many awards and Cruise World’s ‘Best Overall Boat of the Year 2024’ and ‘Best Full-Size Cruiser’ 🎉
Dude, why are the workers not wearing gas masks? I went to the Jeanneau factory in Nantes, France, and all our heads were spinning after an hour. Epoxy resin contains a lot of harmful isocyanates. I guess the workers get desensetized to it after a while, but there's still a vast amount of toxic, hormone intefering and carcinogenic fumes all around. They'll all be dead before they can enjoy their life as pensioners!
These manufacturers just refuse to abandon the split doubled sink that makes absolutely no sense. Everybody hates them! Whats wrong with one useful sink?
What a lovely couple & My favourite boat , We were about to do the same BUT the wife had a hip op that went bad , After living on Yachts from 30 to 72 feet , Chartering , Cruising we had settled on a 2008 J53 DS , I got to admit the arft cabin sold it for me & the electric sheet winches -Nice post thanks ( Oh the wifes 3rd. operation has now gone bad ) Cant sue them down here in NZ ?
