Good stuff. I cancelled my Move order. I found a Push 2 that was great condition for a fraction of the price. I think I may revisit the Move when folks start selling theirs after the hype has died down. Keep up the good work.👊🏾
If you’re not a DJ? You definitely do not need a SP1200. If you’re a pause tape head? Then the SP1200 is your HOLY GRAIL. Every drum machine I have ever owned has been a waste of money. That goes for the ASR-X, MPC 1000, Digitakt and SP404SX. I love the ASR-X but the SP was the move for me. The secret about the SP is that got damn SEQUENCER. YOU JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND!!! The way the SP allow you to forge samples into whatever you can imagine is BANANAS… The SP trains your ear and if you start out on one it translates into other gear. 2.5 seconds is all you need. 2.5 seconds multiplied by EIGHT SOUNDS equal 20 seconds. Take that mind set to other gear and you will never need all that sampling time or ram.
Yeah i only communicated through IG cause he was in Germany for atleast 6 years. I thought his wife was active duty. Last time i seen him in person he was getting out the military. I use the Roland to run my s2400 through it. It’s a Roland 2480
@@BeatsbyLonza @mega-spinz it's true, but the backup tool they eventually released is pretty solid. it's annoying to have to load and unload projects and like keep track of where they are in your backups, but when you need to free up your projects it can at least do that
I had this and it is useless without the I/O expansion pack. It also uses Zip drives to save data. The Zip drives often fail. The laser effects are cool though.
I’ve heard the same thing. Just means that they won’t make another Force OG. Don’t think they will stop updates, saw someone from Akai stating that an update was coming to the force. I mean at the stage it’s at. It still works perfect so i don’t need an update. I’d prefer it work with the MPC software but can’t have it all right?
@BeatsbyLonza I activated the beta on the machine but no sounds come out of the unit. The meters are jumping but no sounds. I see in other videos people complaining about the same thing.
What type of card are you saving your files on? I love my s2400 but it doesn't always save the projects some times it will even erase other sounds, have no clue, what's up with it keep up the good work bro.
