I took a former racehorse I bought out to our hunt. After I trained him to jump. And to handle terrine. He was use to level ground And no bodies of water. He was a perfect gentleman. We had a lady who would ride side saddle in our hunt.Neat to see. Looks so classy. Good luck with yours. You wont regret it. Beautiful horse.
That is not a Shetland pony - unless they have all been bred out into a new breed and kept the name. Shetlands would never reach 15 H, are stocky, recalcitrant and cannot jump. They a are thick-set, incredibly strong and carried mwn to workall day.
They are not draw reins , they are balancing reins there is a roller device that allows the horse to stretch whilst also getting said horse to use his backend (engine) , and round through his back, said horse has a natural bascule shape when jumping. I use a balancing rein when I am doing jumping grid work.
The horse is not being ridden in hyperflexion , it's clear to see the horse is supple through his back and relaxed I n the poll and neck, the rider is soft handed and rides from the seat.
I tried to find any possible channel that Jack Dore owns on youtube and to my dismay , i have not found any. Could it be he just does not have any content posted nor owns a youtube channel to share his events and horse shows? If anyone had any info on this i would be grateful for your reply. Thank you.
Goodness you are a miracle child! God bless you and your parents. If all parents were that loving and had children that grateful and authentic good soul and good hearted. So many wicked hearted children these days. You are one of a kind and truly an encouragement to me and my family. We will be cheering you and your family on to victory! Kudos
Well said👍, the gadget used is a balancing rein it has a roller device that encourages horse to use his backend (engine), round his back to a bascule shape and stretch his neck out straight, I use it on my youngsters when I do grid work nothing over 3ft high or wide, just six jumps in a row with 2strides, 1stride and a bounce.. I don't over jump them maybe one session lasting 15mins once every couple of weeks..
That guy needs to learn the basics. That poor horse is so hyperflexed that it's abusive. (Any hyperflexion is abusive) Thumbs down from me for sure! Be nice to your horse.
