It is a side quest at elder recess. You need to look for their lair at night and your cat talk to them. Then talk to the Lynian Researcher in Seliana, he will then tell you about the Boaboa tribe in Hoarfrost Reach. Travel there, and hunt a large monsters in front of boa boa cats to start their side quest to get de "Signal" gadget
Geez, I'm lvl 63 with more stats than that (although different build) and I can't beat it and I have to do the stupid dungeon all over again everytime. Fuck this boss.
@goldeneagle987 Yeah, I waited lvl 67 cause I didn't want to do the dungeon over and over, then with a strong elixir of fire, I took it down in few seconds, when I was barely doing any damages at 64.
I uh idk if this is possible but is furious rajang and scorned magnamalo also available on expedition or is this similar to iceborne where you could only encounter furious rajang on a mission
Idk man, I try to do the exact same thing expect my pyke literally gets killed first turn of combat before I can even move. Got the best gear available at this point and I'm also level 24
