I only hope the homeowner realizes the ramifications of the premature purchasing and delivering the panels very early. I also hope he appreciates the large amount of extra effort that it is taking trying to fix and assemble these warped panels. My concern is what the final appearance of the exterior side of these walls will be depending on what is used. A conventional 2x6 studded wall fully insulated has got to be a better solution than this method!! Saw this panel method used 50 years ago in Central Ohio Parade of Homes on 2 houses and never saw it used after that!! Hummm!!
Very important to remove frequently. That is a lot of weight and load on the roof which is stressing every support for that roof. I have seen the results of neglecting this duty and the roof and the walls get to sway and buckle in time and a huge expense to repair.
New Methods are always a challenge. From the start it’s difficult to price out something you have never even seem let alone installed. Then add in the fact that they had to endure two of the heaviest snow years for a long time. Your guys are definitely hustling and they are working like a well oiled machine so I think it’s just going to a “learning project” for you and your crew. Looks like you have a good grasp on what needs to be done to get through it. Good luck Ben!
That panel was hammered. It wasn't your fault that the owner bought them prematurely. You'll fight it the whole way with drywall and siding. I'd tell the owner to buy new panels to replace the damaged ones. It shouldn't be your problem. After a while, we get tired of pulling rabbits out of our hats.
Massive pain in the butt, near impossible to have for job satisfaction using some of those panels. Materials sitting out for yrs a big mistake by owner apparently.

Ben, you boys keep an eye on things, fires are breaking out "everywhere." My suspicious mind sees trouble ahead, fires in Bakersfield, Lake Isabella, Yosemite, Colorado and Arizona too. Get your emergency go bags loaded up now!
Didn’t everybody have a container on their counter to save the bacon grease? Aside from the tortillas my German mom cooked just like that. Because of my southern dad we had a lot of fried entrees 😂. Germans and southerners are all about taters and bacon. 😊
