How to do it: (@18:20) - start slowly... warm up... walk or light jogging - stretching... deep squat (20:30) - slowly accelerate - maximum effort(10s) - taper off - sprints between 2s-20s ==> variability... mix it up - 6 to 10 sprints every other day - rest between sprints... can be as much as an hour. (mix it up... can be 2 minutes...5 minutes) - don't ask permission... just sprint. - don't sprint up steps... avoid stairs! (esp. older people can get too easily injured) - sprint up hill (harder, but safer) (--> never sprint downhill!) - avoid injuries - choose a good shoe (29:30) - BFR bands - blood restriction (31:00)
Dr. Sean I know you do meat and ferments - do you pursue ketosis, i.e. eat a high fat diet or is it mostly protein and fermented foods? I think if one isn't eating carbs, being in ketosis is important right? Thanks.
Give me a break. This guy had a ridiculously restrictive diet. No beans? No greens? No nuts and seeds? Apparently there was a study published in nutrients in 2021 comparing vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores. The results of the study showed that the vegans had lower visceral fat than the omnivores. The reduced visceral fat was attributed to the high fiber diet, lower saturated fat intake, and higher consumption of antioxidant rich plant foods. I have switched from an omnivore diet to vegan approximately 2 months ago and it is the best decision I have ever made. My stomach has noticeably gone down and I have lost 10 lb. I have another 10 to go. I use chronometer and make sure I get everything I need and I do take a B12 supplement. Very high carbohydrate intake is definitely excellent for my health. I'm 57 years old. And I eat lots of calories!

If didn't use weed and feed on my lawn then I wouldn't have any grass. It would just be weeds. Plus the little sticker things you wouldn't be able to walk barefooted anyways!
