While they may look the same, our option is fully plug and play and compatible with the blind spot module. We back them with a two year warranty and if you are to experience any issues our U.S. based customer support team is the best in the industry.
Are you supposed to adjust the height of the headlights using the bottom or top screw? Some are saying that it's the bottom screw that adjusts the height?
Hey there! Unfortunately these are not compatible. The longhorn, Limited, and TRX trim levels have totally different shapes. We would need a totally different headlight design for them to fit. It is not on our list at this time, but I have suggested it to our team here!
I was looking at form the reflector and projector models on your website. Is there a specific reason the projector model is so much more expensive than the reflector kit?
The output on projector style headlights is significantly better. Both options offer an improvement over stock lights, but with the projector we are able to put out a more intense beam pattern that goes right up to a razor sharp cutoff line. That cutoff can be easily aimed allowing you to get more output while also not blinding oncoming traffic. If you head back to the product listing we have output comparisons between all three options.
Quick question. I've just installed these on my '23 non-sas Black Diamond and they work great. However, I realized when using the turn signal (right turn signal specifically) they blink a lot faster than usual. It blinks 2x faster than the left turn signal (left turn signal sounds normal). Because my Bronco did not come with signature LED headlights, and only came with the regular headlights, I had to use the included fuse tap harness and installed into slot 24 into the fuse box. Know if this is causing any issues? Possibly faulty wire? I've checked all the lights and they are all working. Nonetheless I love the look of the lights. Thank you.
Hey there! So sorry to hear you are having issues. Fuse slot 24 is the correct slot. This is not an issue I have heard of so I am going to have you reach out to our customer support team and they will gladly help resolve this for you! Send them an email with a brief description of your issue and I will pass your name along so they are looking out for you! The fuse pulled in the video at 4:03 is from slot 125 (USB smart charger), though the audio says to pull slot 24 (PCM + Power Steering Module). I’m assuming it should be 24?
Hey thank you for bringing this to our attention! Sorry for the confusion, but you are correct, please use the fuse location 24. I have made note of this to our team as well. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Just finished installing my 2500 HD they are a huge improvement over the stock headlights. Only concern is now my DLR is not working like the stock units.
Super simple fix! You may have to use the included DRL fuse tap to enable this feature. Hope you are enjoying the lights. If you need more help please contact our customer support team and they will gladly help you work through this! Hours: Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Email: contact@formlights.com Phone: 636-748-4444
the 2022 ram 1500 classic has DRLs , I’m in Canada so every car does so will I have to put in that chip or will they function fine with a regular installation
Hey there! Since this is for vehicle that do not come equipped with a DRL we are not able to confirm if you will need it or not. It is extremely easy to remove or reinstall if you are testing them to see, but we would also recommend trying to contact one of our Canadian dealers to see if they can provide more insight!
Hey there! I am not entirely sure you can powder coat plastic so this would probably not work, and the baking process may melt the lenses. You could however, get the lenses wrapped which would substantially cheaper.
Hey there! Sorry to hear you are having trouble! This is not something that we have ever heard of with our lamps, and sounds like it may just be an installation issue. If this is in fact a Form Lighting product please contact our customer service team, and they will gladly help resolve this for you! I will link their info below and pass your name along so they know to lookout for you! Hours: Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Email: contact@formlights.com Phone: 636-748-4444
These headlights add DRL functionality but they are fully plug and play. No need to custom wire anything. Simply install the included DRL fuse tap we provide and you are good to go!
I just bought and installed a pair of projector headlights for my 2015 Denali 1500, they look and preform amazing. My only question is even though I have DRL’s from factory do I still need to run that separate harness to make them work? With the factory plug plugged in, I have no DRL’s and in the day time no unlock sequence, just the hazards come on.
Hey there! Sorry to hear you are having troubles. This is an issue we have seen before, an don some of the trucks like yours that come with DRL for the factory you still need to tap the DRL to maintain this function with our lamps. Simply follow the DRL fuse tap instructions in this video and use our included harness and you should be good to go! If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer service department. They will gladly help you work through anything in the future. These are FORM Lighting Tail lights from us! Check out the full product listing here at the link: www.formlights.com/2015-2023-ford-mustang-led-tail-lights-pair.html
We do! Here is the link to our product listing for the 5th gen classic headlights. www.formlights.com/2019-2024-ram-1500-classic-led-projector-headlights-pair.html
These are clears, but we offer all three color options and have better comparisons on our website listing here: www.formlights.com/2015-2023-ford-mustang-led-tail-lights-pair.html
Yes, these are priced considerably cheaper than competitor options with the same functions. They are also a great value for anyone wanting to switch from factory halogen to LED. You would have to buy each factory LED lamp individually, purchase new harnesses, and then buy LED bulbs. This would make the costs equal or more than our option that comes with more functions, and is already plug and play. We also back our products with a two year standard warranty that you would not get.
We don't offer tail light options for the JK at this time, but there have definitely been a ton of requests for it! I will pass the suggestion along to our team!
Only thing i dislike about these, is the void in the lower corners. Why not make the entire "C" shape led turn amber when turn signals are on? However, the clearly are an upgrade
We appreciate honest review. We offer an amber DRL option with a fully blacked out housing for this headlight as well if that is something you prefer. As this was one of our first product designs we will take that into consideration for future releases! I have passed the suggestion along to our team.
While there is some unique extra steps you may have take to disassemble the RAM, these headlights are fully plug and play so install is a breeze! As long as you keep your hardware organized dissembling it is really not that long of a process. Total Install time without all the filming in-between is expected to be around 1-2 hours which is standard for most headlight upgrades.
We don't have direct comparisons to our competitors but if you go to the link below we have output images to compare to stock lamps. Thank you for asking, I will pass along a request to our team to get competitor comparisons for future reference. www.formlights.com/2019-2024-ram-1500-sequential-led-projector-headlights-pair.html
I installed these today on my 2020 JL without the sequential lighting. It was super easy with a flashlight and a 10mm socket, taking maybe 20 minutes end to end. Helpful notes - the plug has a way to clip it to the body of the light. Pay attention to how it is clipped before you unplug the old light. Then you can re-attach so the plug is not just dangling by the cables. Also worth repeating to take special care with the plastic screw. Pay attention to how tight it is when you first start to unscrew it, so you know how much to tighten it. And, the screw is easy to finger tighten at first to make sure you are not cross threading it. it should screw in easily for the first couple of rotations. Lights look great, way brighter than OEM with a modern look without too much "bling". Exactly what I was looking for.
Has there been any reports about these lights giving the computer a hard time where it detects low voltage? Because it is programmed to detect the voltage the halogens are versus the LEDs
This is common with LEDs when upgrading from halogen lights, and that's exactly why our lights come with built in resistors so you won't experience this!
Every product we offer is covered by our standard two year warranty. We are based out of the U.S. and work with a number of manufacturers to bring the highest quality products at the best value possible.
If there is not a notch in the box already you can cut a small slot out of the side in a place that is convenient to route the wire out of the box. This will allow the wire to lay flat and should be cut out of the fuse box not the lid if you decide to do so.
