I have a monitor that only has Display port, but my laptop has a HDMI port. I want to use the DP monitor as a 2nd display to my laptop. can you please help me find a adapter to serve that purpose, if you can provide a purchase link (India) that will be more than great :)
plugging in another plug strip to another plug strip is dangerous if you exceed the load if the plug strip you inserted has a high load! if you have a 120v 15 amp strip and you plug in another strip and go over 15amps of current then the power strip might smoke and catch fire if the breaker didnt trip
In Australia we usually have two wall sockets together which allows for more, but yea surge protectors are a must still and I always use surge protectors
I have a Toshiba smart TV and I got far enough where I went into the advanced status of the Wi-Fi connection and I can find the DNS address but clicking on it with my remote only opens or closes my view of the address and doesn't give me the option to edit it. Any ideas?

@@andreabakas6274 in your home you probably have black box that connects you with the internet. that box is router. procedure looks bit like here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L1nWlQKYRu4.html you can use amazon fire stick and change DNS there or tell me what router you have [full model number] and I wll try to help you
I bought a female HDMI to Display port adaptor. The monitor takes Display Port and the PC takes HDMI but it's not working for me. Do I need to order something else?
For that case it wont work. If pc takes hdmi than you need to buy direct hdmi to female dp. Remember, the converter always goes close to you cpu port, not monitor. Final connection will be: Cpu hdmi female port+hdmi male to dp female converter+ a normal dp cable (male to male)+ dp female port of monitor. From my very experience. 😢
It got a bit hard to follow. We did waste a third of your presentation looking at ads which were not really needed as we really believe you regarding the ads. Then a bit later we made a careful note of the DNS (what's that?) server address but you then said we can use whatever server we want. Totally confused!
I need to connect my PC Display Port to Monitor HDMI. Can you suggest any model? I´m confused since you state these adapters work only one way so I´m worry I can order the wrong one. Thanks in advance
You won’t need an adapter. You just need to get a Display port to HDMI cable. The display port goes in the host (in your case PC) and the HDMI in the target screen (your monitor)
I’ve got a Sony Bravia 2023 and on Prime , from 3 ads it dropped down to one 15:25 sec . So it helps… still looking to get them down completely! If u have any updates let me know bro
Thank you, Adam... It brilliantly worked on our LG OLED smart TV. I've just changed the DNS server numbers and all the ads have gone now. I enjoy watching online ad free TV. Many thanks for sharing this video!
