The small one is good enough and will do almost any job provided it will fit under your car. The small one is also handy if you don't have much storage space. The larger one is much nicer to use. I have the best of both worlds, I paid for the cheaper one but if I have a big job I pinch my brothers larger one ! NB , I never jack up under sills, Always under a heavy duty suspension part or an outrigger designated as a jacking point. On some cars such as the Toyota IQ the sill seam will bend which in turn moves the wing out of place. I found this out when I let a "professional" fit new tyres.
Every 3,000 miles on a single turbo or supercharger with balanced highway and stop and go idle city traffic and drive thrus. 2,500 miles with twin turbo (regardless of intercooler or no intercooler). 5,000 miles tops on N/A engines. If you race track alot on roads and/or daily a turbo or supercharger with lots of miles a month, go every 2,500.
10:41 kinda bad info, lower pressure is actually worse in wet, as the tire cannot push the water to the outside as it is designed to do, with low pressure it will keep the water in the middle like a bowl
I’m close to swapping my Alto for an Ignis but undecided between mild and non hybrid. As car salespeople are unreservedly biased just to make a sale, I’m open to opinions on either model.
I got lucky as I went on my birthday to prestword hall and the guy gave me 2 extra laps but I did have to pay £50 to drive an aventador and £30 for 2x the laps
Hi. Thank you for your video. I have a question, how I can reset the misalignment in VCDS? I got the following fault code on my VW Passat 2015 with side and park assist: Address 3C: Lane Change (J769) Labels:| 3Q0-907-566.clb Part No SW: 3Q0 907 566 B HW: 3Q0 907 566 Component: MRR1Rear H16 0230 1 Fault Found: 1311126 - Control Module for Lane-Change Assist C1114 F0 [009] - Automatic Calibration Not Possible Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 00000001 Fault Priority: 4 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 254 Mileage: 96342 km Date: 2024.09.24 Time: 09:29:12 Control Module temperature: 31 C Voltage terminal 30: Measuring value not available Vehicle speed: 0.00 km/h Terminal 15 status: Measuring value not available Voltage terminal 15: 13.00 V The data that I extract is: IDE00018 Voltage terminal 15: 13.00V IDE00019 Voltage terminal 30: 13.00V IDE00020 Terminal 15 status: On IDE05090 Measured receiving power lane change assist. 1: 1,86% IDE05091 Measured receiving power lane change assist. 2 : 2,85% IDE05092 Measured angle lane change assist. 1: -36,10 degree IDE05093 Measured angle lane change assist. 2: 39,50 degree IDE05094 Static angle offset lane change assist. 1: -3,90 degree IDE05095 Static angle offset lane change assist. 1: 0,45 degree IDE09387 Dynamic angle offset lane change assist.: -5,59 degree I assume that sensor 1 is at the wrong angle, I think the sensor moved after I hit a wall. My assumption is correct? What do you think? If I move the sensor in the correct position how I can reset this values? or are resetting automatically? Many thank in advance.
You missed a huge one… terrible OEM cats. You gotta replace with test pipes or just completely decat otherwise the OEM cats will get clogged up and fail
Once a. Year what world I you living in 😂 smh 2/3 times a year and at 5 k miles. And check oil once a month. This clear no very informative or know. But now u know
I just now stumbled upon this video. Decided to give this gen A6 and this engine a try, becausenof how well tunable they are with revo. Compared to my C5 S6, it doesn't have the same v8 rumble, but the supercharger really spreads the torque across much larger area and the euro higher euro standard cits the road tax to 1/3rd of my current one, so probably would jump in and try out the stage1+ or stage 2 remaps.
Sometimes I switch the driving mode to braking mode to safely slow down just a little without pressing the brakes which we normally reserve to signal something unexpected to the driver behind. I don't do it often but its quite nice sometimes specially in electric or hybrid vehicles which sometimes accelerate just a little too much or the car in front slows down just a little requiring me to break and then speed up again by 5-10mph. Regarding the accelerometers showing the brake light, I'm not in support of this idea. Mainly because its a great idea for expensive cars but the entire industry will pretty much adopt it in no time. The reason why I don't like it is because I have little to no tolernace for adding additional points of failure (specially electric or software) into a simple, affordable, good looking hatchback. Sensors giving problems in these models just on their own and needing to be fixed is enough of a cost already. The other day my car door didn't open because I parked in a tight place. The car next to me was over the line and there was no space anywhere else. I also had a passenger so I wanted them to be able to get out easier and not hit the car next to them. I was really confused for a moment when my door wouldn't open and had to ask the passenger to open my door from the outside of this new under 10,000 miles hybrid. I then drove off for a while looking for a parking space and checked to make sure my door isn't broken. I get that the car doesn't want me to hit the car next to me. But please stop treating everyone the same. I don't want my car to tell me anything. The car should be taking orders from me. Edit: outside of traction control, abs, vehicle stability, screen wipers, ac; anything electronic needs to behave perfectly or I'm against it 100%. Also touchscreen infotainment systems should stick to being infotainment systems. They don't play movies or shows that easily. But want you tapping away at a huge screen while your eyes are completely off the road. You're not allowed to text on your phone for a reason. So I don't want to be reading anything on that display. It needs to be responsive, have big obvious buttons, high contrast between buttons and the rest of the ui, and be 100% optional in that I should be able to operate the car perfectly without it. The infotainment system should be considered an add-on, not a core part of the car. They might make sense in the US or canada with large straight roads, but in the UK we're half in our lane and half in the oncoming traffic lane a lot of the time. Our roads are never straight and quite often our two-way traffic roads are the size of a single US road lane.
to the point I like it but got away from the factthe n47/b47 is a great engine! if looked after, kill the egr and change the oil every 5 to 7k miles it'll go on to see silly miles my B47 is on 160K atm
Hi mate how did you fix the fuel tank cap lock error? I have the same error but the cap does lock when the car is locked so I'm unsure why the error is there. Any advise? 2014 audi A6. Thanks
But why do I see you can program long codes VCDS under Advance, but others say you need ODIS or OBDEleven for SDF (or something) and both of those require subscriptions/per use payments payments. So confusing what to get as they all seem to have limitations that require the dealership.
I am from India, but the HEX-NET PRO product is not available here. My uncle resides in Chicago, USA. If he purchases the HEX-NET PRO device for me from the USA, will I be able to activate and use it in India? Can I perform unlimited car diagnosis, coding, and tweaks with the HEX-NET PRO device? Is the HEX-NET PRO an one-time purchase, or does it require a yearly subscription? Do I need to purchase VCDS software separately for it? What is the activation process for the HEX-NET PRO? I own a garage. Is the HEX-NET PRO suitable for handling unlimited car VINs? Does the HEX-NET PRO device come with a cable?
Pretty much… 3 things on this motor that almost always happen are water pump, thermostat and PCV as well as the breather behind it. And carbon build up which you should take care of every 60-80k miles.
Dude. That oil looks like it came out of a woman’s vehicle. You’d feel right at home in a Tesla. (Accent) “I can engage the ludicrous speed and reach the destination first.”
Recently when I touched the screen there was no response and it was not switching to the auto andriod interface. Any idea how could it be solved and resumed? Thanks
First of all I can see you are from GB. I don't get it why don't you use metric system rather then imperial? On the other hand. AUDI !!!! I have c7 form 2011 with 3.0 tdi engine and dsg transsmision. 180kW of power. Jesus this car is dissaster. At 226 000 km I had to do whole service. So that means chain, chain tensioner, wather pump, engine mount and the lost goes for another 20 or 30 items. And after a few thousand kilometers the dsg mechatronic failed even tough in my service book stays that oil in transsmision was changed every 60 000km like audi advises. Aaaaaand before all of this beautiful sweet story I had to replace my rear axle. I live in a land where there is a lot of salt on the road. That salt and mud and water can stick between plastic cover on rear axle that supposed to protect the rear axle from that same thing. In that space between plastic cover and axle itself is whete the corrosion started to appear. Long story short. Tottaly unreliable car. Never again audi.
