I dont mind an all saudi team being in the spot because Paris would not do any better with four challenger players. Remember the legion went 2-28 during the vanguard season. I actually think the falcons will do better than challanger players. They should of beat the challengers champs team lore in eswc. The argument of challenger players not being seen or undiscovered talent, is more on the gms and scouts. Hydra was finishing t8 in european challengers when clayster scouted him, and beought him in. So its there scouts just need to watch. I think the challengers elite bracket needs to be broadcasted on the cdl main channel. Also the lan champs sundays for challengers open bracket.
@@tree88717 excited to see. And to breakdown their gameplay. Challengers does need to be showcased more and have better prize pools. Yeah that legion spot in Vang is a prime example on how that spot could’ve just been used for something else
People called me crazy saying champs would have been a different outcome if faze was on optics side of the bracket. Game if all matchups. Imo faze is the only team not scared of shotzzy. They are decisive and do not play hesitant. Faze would have still lost to nysl or ultra though.
A lot of people said that actually; but facts. I dont think its so much teams are scared of Shotzzy, they just allow him the freedom. FaZe plays around him in SnD but in respawn it's team oriented pressure and youre team is down in the dumps with no control then you cant do all the Shotzzy pinches and flanks you want to do to. You gotta start hitting stuff from the front which just gets you right there they want em
@@BuzzWuzzy hey thanks man appreciate that. Just trying to provide something different for the community that I love and also not echo what everyone else does. And I got no problem calling it like I see it!
Between Ravens and Faze you see who did their homework on Optic, the reason Optic lost is that they don't really have in-game adjusts, which they struggled with throughout this season
@@adiel02 it’s like FaZe and Ravens were both in the same class; 4 people were listening, taking notes and the other 4 were texting/sleeping. In SND (more specifically Highrise) they just need to find a way to enable the other 4 players’ impact on the map. Too dependent on Shotzzy doing something first. The other SND maps they’ve worked on a way to bring the other 3 more into the play (Pred specifically) but Highrise is definitely super one dimensional
Yeah my issue is they try to get cute after fending off the first wave, try to rotate all cute to new, just to get broken at old for half the time and lose rotation to new. They would have got the same amount of points guaranteed if they just focused on securing old time. That’s the thing about why optic is so good at hp imo. They lock up the money hills and most hills when they have a good setup , while timing rotation to new for an early break but not being obsessed over it
this paragraph was so WELL SAID i can't even fathom. Took every thought right out of my head. The first two sentences sum up a big HP problem of theirs's PERFECTLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. PS: I just recorded an OpTic video about how good they are at 6Star (dropping tmmr) with those exact points!
I think fazes mindset is to always play the hill perfect no matter what the score line is. For example, if you have the score line advantage after the first rotation of hills (let's say 140-90) and the other team has a full setup for the new hill, the team should naturally try and break a few times but mainly focus on the rotation to the new hill. That makes it nearly impossible for the other team to overtake your lead and heading into the new hill you can obtain a better setup and propel your lead even greater. With faze you should never expect them to be getting broken on hills with their talent, and as for breaking hills, they orchestrate better trading and capitalizing on map control. Taking hard gunfights while breaking a hill is going to make it hard to break the hill lmao
some good points in there. I'm always mindblown when FaZe get broken on full setups bc its like you got 4 super talented players you have to walk into and you're actually able to get the best of them. Just doesn't make sense sometimes but most of the time it's their own doing. They do create better trading and love map control but you have to know the fine line on taking space and over crossing it. Also to your first point they have been guilty I think more times than other top 4 teams of losing rotation to the next hill when they can't break the previous one while losing their lead. It's annoying because I think when a team like FaZe goes up 100 on you, you should not be able to come back but more often than not teams don't know how to maintain a lead by contesting delaying time on one hill while getting full roto to the next and extending. OpTic is a good example of a team who knows how to hold a HP lead
@@BoRi7o1 I definitely agree on that Optic take. I just think ever since Cell started playing faster this event, it opened up more breathing room for making mistakes. I’d rather see a mistake of over challing and dying to get info for your team, as opposed to seeing you play a useless position on the map where you’re not getting any damage or engagements or info for your team whatsoever. And that is exactly what Cell was doing for the past 3 years until this event. So it doesn’t really surprise me that they won, and in a dominant fashion.
A lot of these ARs r the last one to trade when either defending or breaking a hill, but don’t try to bump and take an angle to get info/damage for the next wave. On the first P3 they trade to get 4 down and I get fel holding time but if u can gain info on where they r and only lose a second (and probably none of u time the bump right) isn’t that worth it?
If you’re referring to around 25 seconds left on the first P3 hill yeah homie was fucking lost lmao. He saw his teammates had every side covered and was running back and fourth lol. Should’ve helped in the front/been more useful but also have to be mindful of nades too
@@BoRi7o1 that’s why I think optic r so good at 6star. When dashy knows he has a free life that man is CHALLING. Great video idea btw helps understand the scoreboard more
@@kunalgupta9713 you gave me another video idea btw so thanks for that lol. But ya the map 6Star was just made for a team like OpTic. A lot of close quarter pre aims. 4 players that can put pressure on a small map, can break every hill from skill and hold every hill from skill and pushing out cuts. 6 star should be a very easy map for skilled teams. OpTic does the best job of making it look easy
also for Gwinn, I need to see him and Nero or Estreal team up on LAT with Formal and Ghosty, I think Ghosty works better as a do it all flex so he can allow Formal to lock lanes down
@@ChoZenAscendant I know I could easily be proven wrong on this one but I don’t think he’s coming back. But honestly if he did LAT would be the only other option besides OpTic which he’s not getting on if Dashy resigns. Gwinn and Nero would be interesting but maybe kinda brainless would love to see it tried though
Let me cook. Ultra: iLLeY or Slasher, iLLeYs comeback szn in his home city fully healthy no problems, we all know he's solid on black ops games, so is insight but iLLeY can bring more pace, good SND, good OBJ and probably a little more slaying with amazing comms, he can get energetic and calm in the comms. Slasher works for me because of all the intangibles he brings, leadership, slaying ability and his cod IQ is one of the highest in the league.
@@ChoZenAscendant iLLeys pace this past year wasn’t as high as you might think but compared to insight you can say faster. The SND will get better but the comms Defintiely will not get better with iLLeY. I can see a world where CleanX and iLLeY personality wise aren’t on the same wavelength. I like the Slasher pick a lot more tbh. && I’ll add on that if Slasher and Scrap do play together and Slasher doesn’t play good; I could see a world where that perma ruins his stock to get back in the league idk
Abuza is not a free agent. So he is not leaving. I can see Toronto going after someone a bit more slay heavy like Attach. As for Accuracy, the dude has been stealing a check the last couple of years, and EWC sealed it for me. He's definitely a blue chip coaching candidate whenever he announces his retirement.
@@arc7xangel897 I don’t think Scrap is picking Attach over Insight imo. And just because he’s not a F/A doesn’t mean someone won’t negotiate or try to buy him if they really want him. Accuracy yeah I could see him not getting back into the league as a player but there’s a small part of me that thinks maybe there’s one more finesse in the books 😂
@@tristinvanzyl3549 They got one. They just need better SnD (as a team or better players) and more consistent slaying. The fundies can only get you so far if you can’t gun people
im in my own head. I think its boring when I talk about rosters news for 20 minutes (if its not on stream) but to other people thats the bomb.com I'm just trying to make sure I'm not on the news reporter vibe; thats not my lane. But I did enjoy making this though.
Few major things wrong scrap pushing out wasn’t the issue it’s the same setup that optic likes to do on p4 and p3 bc pushing to the opposite gen or p2 window for p3 or top snow for p4 allows u to cut the map the issue was him pushing warehouse even when he died bc he essentially has a free life envoy should be playing his life top 3rd not dropping and cleanx simply has to rotate over to p2 window and now he cuts mid scrap spawns back up in the back and can now help insight front or help envoy top 3rd by holding the push from cat room from green tarp the subs kinda blacked out and after scrap threw his life which messed the entire setup up
@@isauced_ basically reciting everything I said haha but yes. No earthly clue why CleanX and Envoy backed down. Scrap was probably thinking ugggh wtf. But even though he did have a free life to give away he didn’t have to go looking back warehouse that’s just doing toooooo much
@@BoRi7o1 u can call that play a black out but if he gets that kill which he should have he got soundwhored they have the strangle hold setup and then they get a full 60 tale of 1 gunfight yes it’s not a traditional play but it would’ve been the game winning play off a single kill
To play devils advocate on scrap’s play (I don’t agree with what he did) but he probably assumed he had a free life to get one maybe two kills to stagger LAT’s push and would spawn up before LAT gets to p3 which his teammates are setup for but literally the worst case scenario ended up happening
yaaaa his teammates both ran backwards instead of trying to hold them off mid until he respawned. Not sure if Scrap communicated he had a streak after he died or not but maybe that wouldve been helpful
Literally, Surge should've had rounds 1, 3, and 5. However, they pushed up, and for good reasons, but they lose all of their gunfights and give 100T the obj. I swear its deja vu bro.
@@bryce4015 on Round 3 Huke is watching chicken coup spawn while 100T was at 5 lives left while his team is in war (which should indicate they aren’t getting that spawn). Def could’ve played tighter and that would’ve prevented ghostly from flying out the window of top red and getting that opening kill😩 but whatever 😩. Every round was a troll
@@BoRi7o1 yeah that had me tight. and it happens again in round 5. im like HUKE PLZ. His whole team dies, and he's waiting for spawn kills? lol on to BO6, where we WILL see improvements from every team. Especially Huke though.
@@bryce4015 I’ve said indirectly on stream before that I didn’t put much stock into vanguard and mw2 bc they were barely real CODs. So all the good players that did bad in those games I didn’t really bat an eyelash. I think in BO6 we’ll see the good players be good again and the players who came up in those 2 titles get somewhat exposed
very clear to see he was but in Cell's defence he's probably thinking Hydra or Kis might try to do a super last second pinch through A bomb or DVD side while the others hit B street. You can see 3 seconds later though he's already in the play again and gets a kill courtyard but then unannounced to him 8 got a close spawn to his teammates pushed up the street instead of spawning back castle (where Cell thought he was gunna get another spawn kill and keep it a 3v3 on the street with the other teammates). He still probably should've hit a faster pinch though but t he got shot at and took a route lol. Still though if aBeZy doesn't push up on street like a maniac then Cell has time to go up the A street and get them in a trap and they could go right towards the building where ABE is and he could bop them or get traded but then they have to make the choice of going out the backside where Cell would be watching or walk into Drazah. While all of that is going on gives ABE time to spawn and get back in the play on the B tank and help keep them back there. Just my thought
