I just love the sound from 2 stroke diesels !

I owned a couple of 8v71's. Drove a couple 6-71 and 6v92 silvers. The 6-s were the most baddas ones in my opinion.

I love how all the old truck drivers are going off about keeping it between 1750 and 2150 rpm, rev matching downshifts, mastering clutchless use of a 10 speed Road Ranger etc. Meanwhile my mom's old motorhome rocked a 6V92 TA with a dumb-as-bricks mechanical 4-speed automatic. It managed fine.

Have you all seen the video of the dog, and the ice cream truck? It is funny as ****. The dog gets so excited, and says ice cream. That was this guy, but with a Detroit coming up the road.

I drove a 1978 white roadboss with a 6v92t Detroit a few years. Worst riding truck I've ever driven in 40 years of driving.

Love the twin stacks, air scoops, and that large bumper. Looks like a logging truck hauling an empty lowboy trailer.
