It has more than enough backstop my friend. The fact that camera can’t see that does not mean it is not there.. next time ask before you shame yourself with comment where you write faster than think 🙂
Hello. Yes I am very happy with this scope (reticle g3i drive is trully awesome for driven hunts but I use it even for stalking) and not only the scope, but with binoculars as well. Awesome glass. I can recommend 10x32 Rangeguide!
First seasson with Shotkam Gen4. Overall I am impressed with this kind of camera. Advise for new users: Always ensure it is well calibrated on your type of gun, you will avoid having the red dot out of real aiming position which will make the video impression a bit better (not as me on few videos).
OK I decided to make the things clear for all of you, mainly due to the fact that there is more and more "nice" comments (mainly from Germany) saying how bad person I am and that I should not be a hunter... The first drive result is as bad as it is, correct. I was specifically asked by the manager of the hunt to shoot mainly in front of me and as soon as possible.. when the sounder of boar moved down the hill, he shouted on me many times to shoot and not wait.. so I did.. How good this decision was? Not ideal, in many ways difficult and simply bad. Anyway, all shots fired were agains the ground, no safety issues at all. None of the animal was wounded and left in the forest.. I missed 2 shots, then hit the Uberlaufer and finished him with the last shot..Frischling rolled down the hill with a delay (stacked behind the tree).. all the other 5 shots fired by my neighbours were missed (on the same sounder). The rest of the hunt was fine and shots placed on that young red deer and young sika deer was ok... these animals are pumped and full of adrenalin when they are driven, so sometimes it could happen that they are not just rolling and dropping in the spot. Last but not least, it"s always easy to hate or blame without knowing the background.. It would be really nice if people could share the nice words with the same passion how they share the hate. Ziemlich schießwütig. Hauptsache drauf. Er hatte bei der Rotte so viel Zeit und macht es einfach nur schlecht. Leider auch aus jeder Lage und Winkel geschossen.😢 schlechtes Beispiel
I agree. Point is that the director of the hunt, or we can call him “land lord” was next to me and shouted at me to shoot immediatelly in front of me and not wait.. so at the end bad result and bad choises. Something I can learn from for sure..
Yes that would help… I am not happy about the result from that first drive but what makes me happy is the fact that there are people like you who does not have anything usefull to share except empty words based on which they feel satisfaction 😘
Well there is no magic wand to move all of them into the perfect position.. if you hunt driven game, you most probably know that. Anyway I was asked by the manager of the hunt to shoot as early as possible in front of me.. after that I was not allowed to shoot on the road (line of next hunters).. so there is not so much space for something else than this to respect the land owner request and to respect the safety.
Dobrých střelců je málo a tenhle člověk očividně střílet umí a to že se najde někdo a řekne že dělá blaser R8 blbou reklamu není tak já mám browning maral a dovedu s tim uplne ti samé tak se nad sebou zamyslete v některých honitbach to prostě střílí hlava ne hlava a je to tak a kdo má možnost a dobry flek tak střílí co je na tom?? Je to prostě tak a nikdo to nezmění
Diky! Vse bylo presne podle pokynu hospodare a reditele dane honitby. Na ty prasata to moc povedene nebylo… mel jsem za ukol strilet hlavne pred sebe do strane, protoze na ceste jsem mel 35m od sebe dalsiho lovce (hospodare), ktery na me volal at hlavne strilim.. zbytek probehl tak jak mel. Jeleni kolouch a kolouch sika.. vse ok.
You are right 🙂 but with my Atec h2 the barrel weight is something I am not really use to shoot.. more than 400g in full lenght. Anyway for this seasson I plan to put shotkam on the barrel 😁
1.7-10x42 with usual cross and illuminated red dot. Not really ideal for driven hunt from my point of view, but it still works. Anyway I prefer to have only dot.
@@Leo-oc2bl Je ne les ai pas essayés en 308. Seulement ces SST qui sont super aussi. Quoi qu'il en soit, dans 308 Winchester, j'étais vraiment content d'utiliser Norma Vulcan ou Lapua Mega 12g. Excellente option pour la chasse en battue.
@@dzonaak merci pour tes conseils. Je viens de rentré du taf et voir ton message. J’ai des lapua naturalis pas encore essayer . Les sst oui sa tape mais je suis avec ça pour le moment en 165 grains. Je vais essayer les eldx Hornady 178 grains . Merci beaucoup

Czech Republic. This was really spectacular day.. I shot 2 boars in the first drive (camera was off due to the broken battery) and these 6 in the second drive. Lucky day!
First stand and action of the sessson made me really nervous… and I made some mistakes I should not do.. at least I can learn from that and even though it was not perfect, no boar was wasted or kept wounded there. Thank you for your comment 🙂
Hi Patrick. I don’t speak french but I will answer anyway. Such hunting does not last hours.. just few minutes. I am not a pro.. just a normal guy who is able to manage simple things in the video editor. The main reason for that is to share it with my family and friends who are interested. If you are not, it’s fine. I really hope such negative comment made your day better than it was 😉
Congrats! Maybe you could explain what happened to the boars you shot at but didn't drop at the point. I like the dog that doesn't care about the boars and the shooting but ate the one that you shot first 😂
Lovu zdar! No.. bylo to až moc rychlé.. první mělo udělat kotrmelec.. 3 jsem našel hned a jedno sele mi dostřelil soused, co byl 200m přes kopec.. asi bych se na takový štont znovu nehrnul :D
Hi Nikola. I would say… precise design, good field of view, easy manipulation, this driven hunt scope performed well even in bad light conditions. If I can mention one minus I personally found, it’s the type of recticle.. basic cross which is too wide for me.. at least for the driven hunting.. I would appreciate more just the red dot which is quite fine there. Overall this is minus most probably and only for the driven hunt scope, for there rest quite acceptable. I hope this helps you.
