minori super is air unblockable so you have to somehow react to the flash and forward guard cancel to clash everything. even without lag, and matchup knowledge, its kind of hard to see whats going on in time, with the beam super

yoriko is possibly the hardest fg character ever imo. i must say arcana heart got 100% of characters i can think of that i tried to learn for a week or 2 and said fuck this to the difficulty, yoriko and konoha, who i cant even do the most basic bnb with.

you mean the dead angle? or counter raid. i honestly just didnt think about it when making this and often forget about it when playing. agree that its not really an overly powerful assist. its just beginners always seem to tell me it seems like one since they probably dont know how to get out of pressure.

you should just ask if theres any question to counter xx in team arcana games, someone would pbly have an answer

i havent labbed maab forever. this game unfortunately got one of the worst steam ports, and console is forever jp released only. meaning community is dead, and hardly anyone gave it a try. fun game though

the trick i found was 2 hand pianoing. I'm tapping the a and b buttons with left and right fingers. tbh theres little point of doing this ch in matches, other than the occasional hard read even if you can pull it off. it scales heavily in combos and doesnt give you any positional advantage. ending combos with 2c 214ab usually does almost as much damage. it doesnt have invul frames or anything, and non ef version doesnt do that much damage or look nearly as cool. this is one of those show off execution to style combos. its hard to react to block in time and accidental burst sometimes. you might occasionally be able to kill where another super or extention doesnt do enough damage, but thats way too hard to read on the fly.

you might have better followup if you hit it with blood super orb on, so you can homing cancel and follow up, by theory. but since blood ef decreases damage, and decreses ef timing, it makes it suck anyways. A lot of akane launch>loop combos dont fully work with some arcana, since ef duration is super short. i dont know if i'd bother testing.

its an obs mod using fight stick viewer. it only has sf style punch kick buttons, but i changed it to put in different buttons since you just have to replace the png pics with something of the same resolution, and had a friend rip the nitroplus buttons with color

@@rkraccoons not really obsproject.com/forum/resources/display-fightstick-motions.344/ ayou jsut have to change to button bmp files to get proper buttons, if you want it.. i'm not sure how accurate it is tbh, since sometimes it displays things like 6314 which shouldnt be possible. but its nice to be able to show how you fucked up execution while training. theres a hitbox mode too for streaming/vid recording, and some other programs you can pbly get if you want a pad viewer.

these combos arent really that practical. the proration scaling in this game is stupid strong, so damage isnt that high, and most of these assist pairings aren't really that practical for anything else. they are just dumb troll combos you cant do for fun, and combo videos

people always seem to add s in arcana heart for some reason. it seems most like soku, which i havent palyed too much off, but theres less screen filling projectiles and invul during dash. bride attacks are like persona. it's not that arcana like gameplay wise to me, it is since theres a lot of aerial movement thats played differently, and easy to come up with a lot of mixups on day one, and probably lead to a lot of playstyle variance compared to other games

@@hj-yj5yo 2e and 5e are the universal air unblockables, while most other characters have some specifics, ie, minori 5b, saki 6c, elsa 4c, scharl 22a, etc. how you set lightning arcana to test clash is by extend forcing, and then blocking. in lightning ef mode, it'll clash all clahsables on block, and just regular block the unclashables. basically unclashables are good since they wont just cancel each other out if they clash a move, and you can ignore things like forward guard cancel after the initial invul frame. it does get you hit by some stuff or trade, where a clashable move would let you cancel out and possibly counter for better or worst. also should of included moves that hit crouching on quick netural j5d home ins. I thought of making a vid on clash options and guard cancels, but i just know some options, and its hard to really understand and describe. and no player seems to really know how to explain it well, and just do some stuff when i asked. just know on clash you can special, backdash, mash, throw, (super) jump out of stuff, etc if you can react to them, which is usually difficult without bait forcing clash

@@hj-yj5yo also should point out the way training mode works, set dummy to block but hold back before resetting or stop recording, since the dummy wouldnt be blocking if it you are not moving your stick while it's still recording. and mind if i ask, is there any specific character/arcana you are using?

@@hj-yj5yo if you havent decided yet, i'd recommend maybe love, followed by flower, fenrir. love has pretty fast meter gain, and 2nd fastest burst regen(flower being first). pretty easy to understand specials. if you dont know ef combos yet, you can burst early and often get it back in the same round. fenrir specials just seem easy imo, and you can make clash moves explode. rock ef armor would let you beat other beginners who don't know how to handle gimicks maybe just stay away from punishment, magnet, since they mostly suck, and are pretty hard to use. heart, elsa, dark heart, saki, weiss, would pbly let you learn arcana the easiest, since they got a lot of universal stuff that work for a lot of characters, with less reliant on gimicks. eko would be easiest if you just want to flow chart win. homing>je. 2c>super, to beat most people, and even good players do that sometimes

i know, i also put her in as #2 in the hardest arcana character vid, and she has stuff like a command grab that reverse your inputs, that i didnt even go over.

xtend's been out for close to an year, with widescreen as default, the borders with link animation can only be played in LM now since 6 stars automatically updates to xtend

its not really good tbh and just look good. its hard to land, and can only be done if they are too far away from the corner. doesnt do that much damage or give you much positional advantage. the only thing its good for tbh is getting some meter, and showing off

evventhough she can't win in super grow mode, i cant really control at all, and still take armored damage and life drain lol

this games got some really weird bugs for sure. game froze once when parace got grabbed and lost, but you cant record replay, since the game just freezes untill you exit the game.

another interesting discovery, need at least 8 seconds to hit that lvl3 without getting time out, I dont know how long ef version is. its pretty dumb how they dont freeze clock.
