I am a ginger bearded bald Scotsman that is fond of kebabs, curries and whisky. I am easily frightened and apologise in advance for any involuntary high pitched squealing that may occur!
Definitely roll with what you enjoy, but I'll say the charged R2 that thr bramble handle gives you carried me HARD. Also the handles fable art (triangle art comes from the blade, L2+trianglr comes from the habdle) is insane if you have an opening and full fable bar, since you can use it with just one but holding it to drain it all finishes with a really strong attack. If you combine the charge R2 with a long blade, its got insane reach fkr sich a quick attack. I rolled with the bramble blade and dancers curved sword (found behind some enemies in the area right before the stage where you figut the lady in the white outfit.) Either way, this is one of the coolest mechanics any soulslike has ever had. I really hope a sequel takes it further and lets you also change out things like the guard and pommel and whatnot.
Near the end you passed over buying an electric blitz grindstone. ALWAYS buy those. Each one is unique and will provide a one time buff when used, some of the later buffs are insanely helpful, and they automatically restore their use any time you rest.
Davet, running along one of the most linear paths a video game could possibly have: "Don't confuse me like this!" Oh God I wrote that comment before you went on to spend 10 minutes running back and forth on it crying about how confused you were. This was painful to watch. 😂
Unless you ended the session then, youre likely last this part, but a little secret: after you push the fire down, it reveals a little room where the poison was. Also one of the two cogs where the fire is, you can get on it and ride it up and over to an item. Cant recall the item.
I need tk remember tk hold my comment until the vid is over lol. So the 3 bosses i struggled with were the King, Boshop and Victor. Bishop as my vido said was cuz I had been up for 30+ hours due to new meds. (Well i also took about 2 hours on Laxasia, who i believe you didnt make it to yet in yiur streams, but EVERYONE struggles with her.) I know i mentioned this in your stream, but i get what youre talking about with the bosses. My analogy of you playing a souls game but them playing Devil May Cry is apt. Your movement from DS1 to Elden Ring is quicker and smoother, but every boss is, well to quote Joseph Andersons vid on Elden Ring "bosses will do anime acrobatics for a whole episode including chains that involve them taking off into the air, landing into an attack that explodes and then taking off AGAIN into the air because theyre still not done." This game feels better because you are nimble enough and have moves that can counter that crap. Same reason Sekiro is satisfying even with enemies like that. About your comment at the end. NO NO NO. The optional dialogue is very important in some cases for being able to finish quests and getting the good ending. Exhaust aaaallll dialogue.
I cannot express the strange combo of intense laughter and complete lack of surprise when you, stargazer in sight, ignored the ladder, fell 5 feet and took JUST enough damage to lose what little health you had and died. Classic deedo.
I just love that you spent your entire original stream playthrough complaining that you couldn't get a tophat and now the game gives you one, you try it on for all of 5 seconds and then say you prefer it off. 😂
Hmm, 10 seconds from end of video, no major story stuff or checkpoints coming up, wonder why he'd end the video. Me: He probably dies. Davet 3 seconds later: dies.
If you guys like this game then try the long dark. It's about an aurora event cutting off electricity and your stuck on great bear island. The enviroment is absolutely freezing and tbe enviroment is snow and ice everywhere.. there is a story sbd a sandbox survival aswell as menu challenges that each are difficult in there own right
"Yeah, protocols goes right out the window as soon as supernatural things start happening" he says to someone who works for a bureau literally about dealing with supernatural stuff :p (I know you haven't played control yet, but that made me giggle)
"I hope we get more of those commercials, those are great" 5 minutes later: Commercial plays, Davet stares at a wall in the next room over for half of it.
I know it's been a year since you posted this video, but it was extremely helpful for me just buying the game. Thanks for sharing. Great job with drinking and playing this hard and fun game. LOL
Was looking for a nice gameplay of this game and this was so much fun to watch dude! Definitely subscribing to your channel, you're very funny! haha Will keep an eye out for future videos! Also, that was a quite gassy gameplay, the farts definitely made it funnier 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Take good care man! :)
Mission briefing: You will be dropped into hostile territory, there may be enemy lifeforms nearby 5 minutes in: I'll build double beds, in case they wanna pump each other WTF is this game XD
