@SoundBoy808 - I will use the same explanation you Brits do in pronouncing "Jag-u-ar". That is the way the Jaguar company wants it pronounced and after all, it is their car. Well, Ford used the name Mach 1 for its Mustang performance model and pronounces it "mock", not mack - that is the name of another American product, the Mack truck! LOL
We had the wrong tyres as well as the ones we wanted were not in stock at Michelin, so we had a mixed set in the wrong sizes.... plus it was too cold to actually get them up to temp.... The front CUP2 Rs were just scrubbed to pieces as they were never in the window....
Es handelt sich nicht um den TÜV, sondern um eine gesamteuropäische Zertifizierung, also für ganz Europa, nicht nur für Deutschland. (also kurz gesagt... ja!)
for me the Mach1 from factory is an amazing car and will go down in history as one of the best MACH 1's ever if not the best.. Steeda just took it to another level!
Amazing Mustang! I’d like a more “angry” sound on it , though! Maybe long tube headers? I got the sound I wanted with that upgrade on my ex C6 Z07 Corvette! By the way, the test on the Nordschleife was sensational!
Man to see that car do over 200 mph in the straightaway wow in that type of weather is absolutely awesome Ford has done a great job with this car and I don’t think this car is super charged.
Tastes and colours cannot be discussed as my dad always says! Fighter Jet Grey! (in case you want to avoid it in the future!).. I wish they released the awesome mach 1 colours in Europe like Eruption Green and Mystic Purple....
For sure. Unfortunately due to a Michelin stock issue, we could only get CUP R tyres for the front and they never got up to temperature on the "one lap" shoot we had at the end, so they were not operating at all. You could see they were scrubbed to hell from the understeer after just a couple of laps whereas the CUP 2 on the rear worked perfectly. Still, the day was also about learning, and we knew the tyres were not the ones we wanted, so it was good to see what happened, and great to know the car will be even more hooked up with the new matching set of bigger CUP2s we just received for the car..... Nurburgring here we come! stay tuned for more!
No I sold the charger setup ages ago, and then the car about 5 years ago.. still miss it though! A Pettit charged RX8 is the BEST street car you can have for fun country drives etc
RIP Ray "Harrizone" who passed away now. He was the only one brave enough to let Andy drive his car! Many good times shared with Ray over the years and he kept tracking his RX8 for 17 years! Maximum boost Ray and condolences to his family.
normal was about 7.5 -8.5 and the hi boost pulley ran to about 11 or 12 if I remember right (I only ever had normal). Normal was plug and play, high boost needed upgrades to fuelling etc
@@SoundBoy808 I believe way back when they first started making it, the "Stage I" kit was only 5psi and did not require an air-to-water cooler, while the "Stage II" included the intercooler and has several pulley options - the 8psi pulley (still essentially bolt-on with a tune), the 11psi pulley which required upgraded fuel injectors and fuel pump, and the later-created 13psi pulley was for max boost but even with cooling and stability upgrades would kill your Renesis within about 20,000 miles IIRC. I'm going to be running 8psi on mine; from the dynos I've been seeing it should put about 285HP to the wheels. Is that what you're running?
@@VisionQuest057 Yeah I had the "standard" stage 2 8 psi ish setup, It was great. With full Pettit exhaust system I was running over 320 to the flywheel. It was amazing.
I bought one and it's perfect. It's free flowing and not too loud so the cops leave you alone. They shipped it to me in Australia np. See my channel to hear it:)
