If u go with a 3 inch or more u need to take off the upper control arm bolt and remove the lower control arm completely makes it easier to drop as low as possible i recommend getting a new set of lower insulators put the new on the bottom spring to adapter and old on the bottom of the adapter or lift to not have any metal to metal contact
Still don’t trust it why the hell did they not make it longer to connect to the bottom swing arms but instead they made a square adapter. So cheap they couldn’t make it the full length. In my opinion, not worth $150. I purchased the proper links and I just bought all the way up to a 6 inch lift off Amazon for $60 for my 2014 Ram 1500 and they ride smooth no clunking and the bottoms have ball joints on the bottom and rubber bushings on the top so they fully connect to the bottom swing arm not like how you see in the video with that square adapter.
Yep, I just put a set on my 2023 Ram that only has 5k miles on it but had the clunk. I wasn't a believer these would fix my issue, but they did! I am running the Bilstein 5100s at 2.2" as well.
You dont need a bent wrench you think a video coming from the company selling this product that they could think outside the box open your hood get a couple long extensions and oh shit its right there.
You couldn't find a better moron to do this come on, how about setting the washer against the hole and then put the bolt in come on do we really need to turn the shaft to clear a washer oh and bend on the exhaust forgot about that one
Just installed on my 24 GMC Denali 2500HD. Went on seemlessly. Did not have to shave the hole for the tube as the size was fine, but I did have to slightly tap the tube into the hole due to the sway bar obstructing a little.
This truck is cranked too much, even for the pitched after market control arms. Doesn't the top of the UCA pop off to grease the fittings? My kit does.
I noticed a little clunking on my new used truck with 51000 miles 5 days in. Found this and ordered a set for my 2020 Longhorn. The reviews say they are much better than OEM.
Just installed these on my 2020 Ram 1500 4x4 5th gen, (new body style) with a 2.5” lift form icon coilovers, and running 35” nitro ridge grapplers. Noticed my front end links were worn out and I found this video, researched reviews on the ramforum and ordered them. Put the swap bar back to factory angle even with the 2.5” lift, super heavy duty feeling, front end feels tight like a new truck and helps me notice the new icon coilovers feel better. For the price I highly recommend. I mean it, these are legit 🙏🏼💪🏼
I'm wondering how much is too tight for the top nut on these. I'm seeing different opinions on it. The bushings are not buldging at all at the bottom, but I want to make sure they're not too loose either. Should the center sleeve with the logo be able swivel at all or no not even close?
I recently purchased a Cognito 3-Inch Premier Leveling Kit with Fox PSRR 2.0 Shocks for 11-19 SKU 110-P0926 $2400.79 I thought I was buying top of the line product backed by a company that would stand by their product. I WAS WRONG !!!! I had to wait weeks before receiving the leveling kit and once it was installed I realized the truck didn’t sit level and couldn’t figure out what was wrong until having the torsion keys removed and finding out Cognito sent a one of them for a newer model truck. I reached out to them and they were very arrogant and not willing to admit their mistake even with pictures and part number of their torsion keys. I was told the torsion key bolts will never be adjusted the same and they don’t send out wrong parts and it was probably a mixup with the shop that installed it. I encored additional $305.00 labor and not having my truck for five days for their mix up and they refused to reimburse me for their mistake so they don’t stand behind their product our own up to their mistakes.
The appear to work pretty good on the 2012... Just had some installed. Make sure to order the right ones. Year, Make, Model, drive, and engine size all matter when buying.
