Ppm means parts per million which means parts or traces of solute in 1 million of solution Hence the mass of solution is 1 million =10⁶

In question, it is given: 15 ppm (i.e. Parts per million) And value of 1million=10lakh = 10⁶ So, 15 parts per million = 15/ 10⁶

Man isn’t that right if we subtract mole fraction of ethanol with 1 because sum of mole fraction of any solution is 1
