My channel is about sharing some of my hobbies, Family and occasionally mabye a little experience on farm stuff.. I don’t have a fancy shop or tons of tools but what I do have we make it work. Thanks for watching and enjoy.
Hey Danny here’s the link to it. If you have any problems just email me at Joey@jtwes.com maps.app.goo.gl/2nfoLxYzz96RBaaB8?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy
Hey JTWes I am David for Mississippi. I started watching the channel about two months ago. I have made it to 2023 recap. I have enjoyed meeting you and your family, hearing about your faith and your hobby. Thank you all.
Looks good Joey. And looks like good possibility I'll get to plow day to sit and watch. Always nice to watch and hear IH equipment at work. Hopefully a few more spectators to swap stories with.
Hello Joey. I’m so happy that the 300 is back to working. The plow day fields sure look ready. I hope everything comes off as planned. I do wish I had a proper packer, 5-6 feet would do me. Thanks for sharing.
Wish I could make it to plow day. But my wife and 17 people for our church will be heading to Black Mountain, North Carolina on a mission trip for hurricane relief. They are bringing 2 trailers loads of supplies from area churches and the community. If there is one thing Southwest Louisiana knows something about its hurricane recovery! God Bless
Dang Joey, you got that field Looking so good it's a shame to turn it now, ha ha. Hope y'all have a good time. Would love to drive by but it's a least 8 hr. from here to there. Jdnut58
Looking forward to plough day. Can't beat seeing tractors working. We've got a big vintage tractor show coming up in the UK on the 9th and 10th November. I go with my brothers every year. Great show to look round. Looks like you've got a good germination of the rye. Great video. All the best 🇬🇧.
Great video. The 300 looks like it is doing well for you. Glad Plowday is going to be on and y’all have fun and get some good videos so I can watch later. Be safe on your trip to Lenos family.
Hello! Love the videos! I have a old farmall 100, any chance you could explain how to adjust the helper spring on the fast hitch? I have a two bottom hillside plow and the tractor has a real hard time picking it up
I will have to look I've never hardly ever paid attention to that spring. I will say my first impression is that there may be something amiss in the hydraulic system. it should pick that plow up with ease.
I appreciate it! I'm new to the farmall, I figured it should lift much better than it does, but I couldn't be certain. Thanks for the advice! I will definitely be looking into the hydraulics
Hey Sammy, Great job. I enjoy watching your dad and family life on the farm. I found Jtwes channel by searching Farmall 140 and look forward to future videos not just Farmall tractors but just family life that you choose to share with us. I'm watching this 3 months after being posted playing catch up. I think your dad is doing a really great job of raising you boys right. Keep up the good work and please do make more videos. You did fine without a dedicated cameraman. Tell your dad Happy Birthday for me from Latheman Mark in Tacoma Washington. God Bless the entire Jtwes Family.
I think it may be a field cultivator. Great video. Thanks for sharing. That is some really nice soil. My son and I are starting Mark, we haven't missed a day!!!! Wish I could make the plow day.
Continuing to pray for all those effected by the storm. Man that disc did a good job Joey. Told you that you were going to like the lift spring tooth harrow. Thanks so much for sharing the video. Y'all take care.
I bought the same truck minus the 5th towing package and mine has vinyl seats and rubber floors in May 2020 for $40,700… this was when inventory was about to fall off with Covid. I think I chose the right time.
Agree with that. I’m doing a video for its 3 yr review of which oil is better for it. Pennzoil or AMSOIL got the first oil analysis back on the Pennzoil just have to get the AMSOIL tested next.
That's definitely a nice disc Joey! It's got to be a combination of the weight and the scalloped disc on both ends. I've got a Leinbach for my 274 similar to that. Great video btw.
Evening. Joey, the Biden administration claims FEMA is broke, but someone discovered they had 7 billion. Trouble is they want to give it to the illegal immigrants. Looking good there.
I’m really glad the disc and spring tooth are working out for you. I do “stumble” across some good stuff from time to time. Nice that it is being used as intended. You sorta know my feelings about the government. Neighbors helping neighbors is the true blessing.
I need a 122 disc. I know hitting it at the right moisture content is key but that thing impressed me to no end. Enjoyed the video Joey. They need to bring back the FEMA trailers. When I was working for a local utility I spent a good amount of time over in Mississippi putting service to those trailers. I don’t know at the hundreds of electric services I installed. NC deserves the same respect.
Wow that 122 disk harrow really cuts. I have never seen. A pickup disc cut like that. I have a 6 foot and an 8 foot Ford flexohitch disc's and they just kind I f ride on top on unplowed ground. I have a couple of 6 foot wings off of a big disc I have wanted to mount on a frame for a good cutting rig. Great video today. You are right about the fema mobile homes. I knew guys that were transporting them. I think that was for hurricane katrina.
Yes continue to pray for the folks in the mountains. The destruction is unreal. Roads, bridges, driveways are completely gone. Hundreds of homes destroyed. God is moving and folks from all over the country are helping out. Neighbors helping neighbors and total strangers. Wish more news would focus on the good that is happening.
Aw, the boy needs to learn by himself, failure is the best teacher, i learned more from Breaking things doing it by myself than i ever did when my dad or grandpa ever tried to teach me. And yeah i understand you want to keep the Super A nice and wanna be careful with it.
Thanks for sharing the video Joey. Looking nice. You are going to like the harrow for what you are doing. Yes sir those cyclone spreaders are good little tools. We wore out one like that and I now have one I got from Southern States. God Bless Y'all and I am praying continually for all those effected by the storm.
My dad used to use a spreader here called a fiddle drill. Where you moved the stick backwards and forwards like a fiddle to spread the seed. Looks like it did a great job. Thanks for the video. All the best 🇬🇧.
