Libs have traditionally been a little heavier but with the new bottle rocket tech they have been getting lighter while maintaining durability. Great travel board!
@@urbansurfnw85Thank you very much! I was a little worried about the weight, that it would be a little slow but I really like the board. Thank you so much!
Hallo guys really nice review Can you tell me please the rider specs? And if this board is a good paddler and a caching machine? I am a good intermedia surfer 45years old, around 74 kilos 1,80 and i wants a good grovel board for average waves waist to little over what will you suggest me between 5,8 paddle fish or 5,10 swordfish in lid tech boards Cheers have fun out there
Hey Don. The rider is 5'9" 160 pounds! The board paddles well, but not incredibly. The puddle fish will paddle better but with that you'll find it will hinder your top to bottom surfing. If you want a more performance oriented board that can have fun on mushy waves and still excel in good surf the KA swordfish is for you. If you want a fun board on crappy waves that will paddle into anything, the Puddle Fish would be a better bet.
@@urbansurfnw85 thanks guys I will go probably with the bigger SWF 5,10 33,5 liters it's inside my liter range, the thing about the waves were I live is that there aren't so powerfull and my mainly problem is that I don't have access to the boards to see with my eyes what is the real meaning of pointed rocker nose on swf but the board looks great
Yo Geno! More similar to the RNF for sure! Its fast and SUPER responsive. As soon as you put your back foot on the tail it wants to go. The Puddle Fish is going to feel more stable and comfortable than the Swordfish but if you want that lightweight, reactive, and poppy feeling the KA Swordfish is the move brah!
@@urbansurfnw85 Harlen gracias for a great response. Pf is top notch for me. Hoping lib will jump on the mid lengths for us old weekend warrior guys. Pickup sticks are fun but a crowd killer would be mo Bettha. Tanx couzin Harlen yeeee
