Ang alam ko nasa 18k lang ang seating capacity talga niyan. Eh nasa 25k mahigit ang record nung G3. So mga 7k na SRO yung nakuha nila from that most probably! Thats 3.15M in ticket sales from SRO pa lang!
Thanks for being a great sport choosing to post this regardless of the outcome. So close yet so far anew for the UPMBT. What could have been right? Anyway, padayon! Second place is not bad. No shame in losing to the best, even if you led 80% of the way. ;) As a Lasallian, I cannot lie how satisfying it feels to watch this from a UP perspective. Your crowd has been great throughout the season. The DLSU crowd, on the other hand, remains to be selective and only matched your energy in the finals. If there's anything I'd always admire the Iskos and Iskas, it would be the ferocious roars -- even if they disappeared later in the game. Moving forward I am hoping UP would begin to compete like this in volleyball too -- that would be some spectacle. For now let me end this comment by saying, Animo La Salle! :)
Thanks for the kind words, I clapped for DLSU when the final buzzer sounded. It was a really great game and one for the books. Hope to see DLSU in that finals game again next season!
Im from up but seated at the opposite side with my 8y/o lasalista son. I was wearing maroon nonetheless lol I loved the bangayan of both schools, esp fans. Wala nagpapatalo haha. Congrats dlsu! Bawi up!
Yan ang hirap pag wala ka mismo sa loob ng Araneta di mo kita na pinalilibutan ng UP ang mga taga DLSU. Halos buong GA sa sinakop ng UP. Manood ka kasi minsan para ma experience mo. Pwede naman kahit di ka taga UAAP school eh.

Sabagay pwede rin ako magsuot ng blue next time then watch DLSU vs yupe .. to support both blue & green .. or mag green ako blending vs yupe na back2back runner up . Yung cheer na walang takot literal na natakot sa suffocating defense ng kalaban,.if you're a Rabid UP fan you'll feel disappointed its not how you wanted to end a dominating season after being a top seeded team, Ateneo had exposed their weakness and its their thin frontline, they can even have a scoring drought like any other team and that's what LaSalle.did during game three, imagine scoreless in rhe last six minutes and the.game,.it could have gone on their side being down by just a single possession had they shot a single basket on that stretch. Did, the players succumbed to pressure? I dont think so, three consecutive finals appearances all.of which went to decider game three, they should.be mentally prepared, what's unusual for.me.is why benching two of the team's experienced and senior guard CJ and JD, had they been inside the court, they can restore composure and create crucial plays even if they're misfiring im sure they can do.wonders, sayang UP,.well BBB back to back Bridesmaid finish seasons 85-86, they could have achieved three peat while they have an intact line up

Man, I know other schools have harsh hecklers too. Pero eto hirap sa biglang super team na biglang nananalo. Daming bandwagon fans na sobrang rabid, yung mga not totally in tune with the culture. Nothing wrong naman sa pagdami ng fans or supporters, but come on! Konting class act naman diyan para sa ibang UP fans. Giving the finger over a call? Booing the other school while they're singing their alma mater song? Cursing out fans na wala naman kinalaman sa game? Given yung iba isolated cases at baka pa nga yung mga gumagawa neto hindi naman talaga taga UP and I know madami UP fans na hindi naman ganyan umasal. Pero ang disappointing lang if ever man na UP nga galing. Kung ganyan lang din, balik na lang siguro kayo sa 0-14 era ng UP. To be honest, ang satisfying tuloy mapanood kayo matalo.
Uhm its quite dumb to generalize a whole fanbase based on the isolated cases you’ve mentioned. Other schools do it too so you’d be a hypocrite if you go with that senseless argument. i agree, i mean from online palang a deleted tiktok video wherein up and lasalle students were asked "whats attractive about the other school" sobrang direspectful and unclassy ng mga sagot ng up students like "pera" "wala" "pass" "conyo", meanwhile yung lasallians were saying na hardworking, smart, compassionate, intelligent, "they have beauty brains everything" "they are so independent" not only that, when i go on online forums wanting to have civil conversations its always UP fans na magsasabi ng things like "jejemon ang lasalle" or that we have no substance. once nag comment ako ng animo lasalle to an alumni's post and a girl who had "UP debate team" in her bio started attacking saying "if u read better politics you would know that this is a small win, you love celebrating small wins, okay you won from a poorly shot 3 point, pinagbigyan lang kayo ni gold" like wow ito pala mga iskolar ng bayan invalidating a rightful winner's accomplishment porket sila ang talo, i doubt if sila nanalo masasabi nilang small win yun HHSHAHAH walang sportsmanship and yes true marami din toxic sa ibang schools pero even ateneans, thomasians, NU, ADU, FEU are so decent pag kausap. ibang level pag nag criticize ka sa toxic UP fans (o di ko nilalahat at kung natamaan ediii sorry nalang) coming from someone that has so many looooong time isko friends and i always watch UAAP sa side nila, pero grabe ah the things i've heard being on their side even one shouting at me na ready na ba matalo because i was wearing green. funny din nung round 1 game ng lasalle nag boo sila kay mike phillips screaming actor pero kita sa slowmo talagang natapilok siya😭
