I got very confused after watching the first bit of the video so I skipped a bit to only get even more confused... It would be nice if there was some sort of context or flow from cut to cut but you also throw in random pictures here and there or mix up shots and its just very weird. I have only watched one other cruise video from start to finish and and its from the 2002-2003 VF31 and I have to say the real thing has much better editing. Its a shame because you probably spent quite a bit of time to put this together...
Good Evening , i write to you from Sanremo- Italia , I certainly liked your video, and quite a bit. In my family we have all been and still are pilots of some kind of vehicle. My Father was a Paratrooper and drove trucks, my Cousin was a General of the Italian Air Force and flew F-104s (Gen. Fernando Buttelli) and my Uncle (Giancarlo Modena), was a pilot and civilian instructor, and unfortunately he left us while we We were children because of a plane crash, and if he had lived, we children too would have become pilots. I drive trucks, and when I was young I was a racing car and motorbike driver, but my unfulfilled dream was to become a fighter pilot! I congratulate you on the splendid video of him, I watch it over and over again, and then the "Big Cat" is truly fantastic!!! 👍🙋🏻♂️🤙
I have been flying and watching DCS videos for years. I’ve seen some good content. So to say THIS is hands down by far the best video I have ever seen in the DCS community is a bold statement. I finally started flying with a group and in a couple weeks couldn’t resist switching over from the 18 to the 14. I will be watching this video a lot. Bravo Zulu. Job well done.
They did indeed. The start with Adm. Thomas Connolly in it is from the VF-31 video. Which in turn the guys from VF-31 took from a 1970 instructional video. (Also it’s VF and not Vf)
Even though this didnt happen in reality the DCS games have amazing graphics! I served with VF-103 Sluggers 1990-1992 and we were the first on station for desert shield/desert storm. This brings back so many good memories on the flightdeck of the USS Saratoga CV-60. The squadron name & logo was chanded to the Jolly Rogers when VF-84 was decommissioned. ANYTIME , ANYWHERE BABY!!!
I don't care what anyone says, the F14 will always remain the king of the Air. She was the best in her class with the right Aircrew. I heard many pilots say that if they flew her at the edge of her capabilities, it scared them. I made 2 Westpacs with VF51 (1988 / 90) with the A model. On board the Chucky V. Uss Carl Vinson CVN70. I wish that aircraft.
