Hi pal I’ve got a hh finally found one she’s a beaut when should I start dropping her weight does it go of how many feathers she’s moulted or the time before season ?

Your hawk is getting along with you well during the moult! She never flew to your glove, not even when your held your glove even an inch from her talons. At least she hopped on your sleeve but she always just flew to the next perch within just a few seconds! The biggest problem here is a lack of consistency. If you do something different every day when you present the food, you’ll just keep trying until you find a way that works for her. But then she’ll just expect it that way for now on. If you throw a meal for her, then she’ll likely never fly to your glove until you can get her weight down when the moult is over. Once your break the routine, she’ll realize she’s not getting any food until she flies to that glove. But until then, keep whistling for her and do what you can so that she remembers accepting you as her main food source!
