Ich muss das ausschalten, so sehr ich Orlińskis Stimme liebe und ihn gerne erzählen hören würde. Aber ich kann das nicht akzeptieren: Musiker spielen mit Maske. Geht GAR nicht!
Its crazy that his speaking voice is only a half step above mine and yet he is a countertenor and I cant hit anywhere near that high. Amazing vocal talent and skill
He’s certainly the least media shy countertenor ever. He is simultaneously casual, open and fun. Classical artists normally are closed books. Whatever you may deduce by meeting them, they will never shout “free Palestine” 😂😂😂 just the thought… A Russian soprano said a vaguely pro Putin statement (she has family in Russia) and she nearly lost her career. No 😂😂😂 Nobody's shouting “save the whales”😂😂😂 But JJO's been caught just picking up an aria with a local pianist in a Polish airport. He brought the airport to a standstill ! He sang a videotaped, radio appearance in funky summer clothing and sneakers. The pianist wore flip flops. Classical performers normally have very carefully crafted personae with interviews only granted to certain journalists. This is what makes JJO so unique. He has, additionally, perhaps the greatest countertenor voice of his generation. Others at the top of the countertenor heap have Herculean skills, wonderful personalities, great beauty, but what JJO has is his openness in a, generally, very closed off world
I’m sorry, but what poor taste/discernment for a singer of Mr. Orlinski’s stature to walk into a church - a sacred place - wearing/advertising “BOSS.” This, in my opinion, is not “cool”/“awesome.” Shame on you, sir. At your age, you should know better. I wonder if “BOSS” put Mr. Orlinski up to this and how much he was paid. And, what a poor example, sir, you are setting for young people. I hope these remarks help.
But he dresses like this every day. It wasn't a concert in front of an audience. NB. He wears clothes including Boss (🥰Is there anyone who will forbid a rich man?).
For goodness sake... Many people wear very well known brands and how do you know that Jakub was paid for this? If you do not know, do not say. What is wrong with wearing a hoodie in a church (many people do)? Especially when he comes, basically, to work, not to a service... Please do not be so petty, try to encourage young people to come to church even wearing a hoodie as churches become emptier and emptier nowadays and that's partly due to the attitude you present... Open the gates of the church to EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO COME!
What an elegant and superb singer and character. I first heard him in that viral video in Aix en Provence with Frederic Lodeon's program, so beautiful and funny in his shorts. I fell in love (platonically of course)...
I am so glad that covid did not harm him. It almost killed me. He has helped me recover these past 3 years. His music and his sweetness are the best medicine.
