I haven’t had that issue with mine yet. I would probably trim off the dry crispy parts. When I trim things like aloes I usually cut them at an angle so the leaf still ends in a point and not straight across. Just my preference. I’m guessing but your plant may have gotten a little too dry? Good luck! Thanks for watching!
That’s awesome! Hope it grows great for you! Mine is on the edge of the woods so it gets part sun. If you can, place it somewhere out of hot mid day sun. Good luck thanks for watching!
I had just bought this same kind of cactus and was wondering if you can give me some tips and making sure it don’t die and how to maintain it and help it grow or when to water and how much sun to get
These cacti can take a good amount of sun. They need it in order to keep their blue color. If they have too much shade they will be green instead of blue. If they haven’t been out in the sun introduce them a couple hours at a time and you can gradually increase it. Otherwise they could burn. Watering where I live (Illinois) in summer when it’s hot, I water once a week to a week and a half. If you’re keeping it indoors in a sunny window I would water once a month. In winter I put them inside and only water one or two times from October to April. I bring them in when night time temperatures get below 50 Fahrenheit. Hope that helps! Good luck!
I just bought one that i wanted to plant in front of the yard. Is it okay to plant it like 6ft from the house? I wonder if the roots of the weeping yoshino tree is invasive
30%, I got three seedlings out of a ten pack. I have managed to keep all three alive. They have more than doubled in size now that I repotted them. Thanks for watching and commenting!
They are doing great. They are about three times bigger. I’ve kept them getting as much sun as possible in the greenhouse and they’re a nice blue! Thanks for commenting and watching!
I want to plant one of these in front of my house but I don’t want to it to get taller than the house. Some day these get 15 feet tall. Did you have to do anything to keep it from getting tall or is this it’s height naturally?
I have many peonies and just bought a barefoot Bartzela Itoh peony at Home Depot for $15 . I was hoping some planting tips… anyway looks nice in your yard.
@@gigantica000 Hi: I live in Wisconsin so I just planted it in a pot last week (to bring in quickly if snow returns) so nothing yet. I will add that I have not had good luck with Home Depot bulbs of various sorts over the years, but I figured $15, when the actual peony in the garden shop last summer was $80 or so, was worth a chance.
@@annelessick3163 Yes mine is also bare rooted and planted in a pot. I think from what i have heard in other videos is that bare rooted plants need a extra year before blooming, er even two. Next year we will be fine i guess :P
It was a couple years ago but I think it came from a local nursery in Illinois. I found it while looking for different tree peonies. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Wow that’s a hard question! I think I would go with the Cinerea! In this case you can’t really choose wrong! Good luck and thanks for watching and commenting!
thank you for your video. I recently found a lot of white caterpillars inside the stem of the tree, and half of the stem already gone. Is there any way to save the tree? Thank you
Hopefully you can save it! First I’d decide if what’s left of the tree is save able. If yes then I’d try to Identify the caterpillars. Next remove all dead and damaged parts/branches. Then I’d treat the bugs and hope for the best. Thanks for watching! Good luck with your tree!
Another lovely tree, thanku. The ‘normal’ version of this tree has a leaning even sprawling habit so it’s no surprise yours has that elegant, graceful stance. You have a good eye for a garden worthy tree, I’m sure that’s no accident n I’m gonna check out your channel some more! God bless 🙏✝️
What an adorable tree, thanku for showing us. Can’t you take masses of cuttings ( d tree could spare them) n make a fortune not to mention all the happy bonsaiers! God bless you 🙏✝️ ✌️🇺🇦🌻✌️
