Thanks so much! I typically leave a receiver-ball on and would have damaged tailgate if I hadn't seen this. Any idea how to eliminate or turn down the chime when door is opened.
Question please, am i pressing the lock button on the key fob ? The video says to just have it with you and within 3 feet. I do see that he presses something.
@@buicknick I’ve built and priced one for $46k. No one wants a rear sliding window. Lack of interior storage. Bed liner is not standard. Sorry, it’s not worth that. $40k tops
@@calebclark6739 I’m with you, it’s definitely a luxury pickup and not for the average buyer. The only model with less day supply is the Corvette. The majority are sold order or sold in transit. The only one I can keep in stock is 2WD.
@@calebclark6739 and those are all sold. This is a result of the UAW plant strike and the continuing shortage of rail cars. I get limiting production like they are doing on Silverado at 60 days but let’s be honest less than 30 days supply they would surely make more if they could. Not to mention they are going up at least 8% as a result of the strike or they will be the second GMC to be produced outside the United States.
This is great, and thank you for the post. You would think the dealer would have explained this, being that it is so important. I have a 2024 2500 HD LT diesel. I did exactly what you explained, but I had to leave the button pressed for a bit longer 7 seconds, and it worked. Thank you again.
