Great restoration, I've really enjoyed watching it. I think the other one your thinking of is the Saint Dragon.

Awesome build series on the Terra Scorcher but I think you have made a small mistake, you've put the steeing knuckles on upside down they are marked L/R and the bull stud fits underneath 🤔😀👍

I thought i was the only one with the problem of buying broken cars.

I try not to grease where rocks will stick and create its own sandpaper. Other than that it looks great compared to before. I do put some on the kingpins and in the gearbox but everyone does things differently. The cars have so much play when they were designed back in the 1800’s 😂.

I have one of these that needs a restoration. I'll save this video to watch later. I'd love to get it back up and running, but I know that one of the parts of the suspension on the front is broken and something on the back as well. I think I am missing the crystals for the transmitter and receiver though.

Sounds awesome - well worth saving - crystals are trickier to find these days - but you could just as easily buy some new 2.4ghz radio gear to go in it -

Subscribed - hope you continue on the restoration videos for the longer term. I've just been repairing and restoring my old Tamiya blackfoot. One thing i found invaluable to rebuild a missing body section was making a 'plastic slurry' out of bits of plastic melted into acetone. That allows you to build sections that immediately weld themselves to the original plastic or bond broken bits back on. Takes a day or so to reharden off but works well from what I've seen so far 👍

As much as I love vintage 80s/90s rcs those are always display/collectors models only. Spare parts are nonexistent and 3d printed just don't last. £70 for 4 chassis is a good deal.

Agreed - the terra scorcher will definitely be a gently retired show car! I’m not particularly hard on any of my cars but any of the old ones I go very easy on

That Rising Fighter kit youve got is a bit of a dark horse, in reality. It runs the DT-01 Mad Bull gearbox which is pretty sturdy and with a pair of bigger wheels on the back, you've got yourself a pukka runner. Just my two bobs worth 👍
@rcrestoworkshop

Indeed - will be going for a mad bull body shell too as they’re less than half the price and better looking too!

That terra scorcher would sell for 70 in that condition I think. I would say big bargain.

You’ve a bargain there 4 cars for £70 👏nice and a kyosho spyder in there aswell and then an original terra scorcher!! 😮👌she just needs new screws, tyres etc. Plenty to keep you going, you know the one strip down rebuild and I’m sure they’ll come out great. Eat an excellent deal you’ve done well there 💯😎

I love your channel and I can't understand why you've only got 29 subscribers? I don't think RU-vid is promoting your channel good enough? That said, I've still got the vintage Grasshopper and Wild One with the original aluminium pinion gear. So I think they're tougher than you give credit for and I ran the sprint motor in the Wild One.
