Hello, We're wholesale only and won't issue a bond without an agent attached. However, if a non-agent needs a bond we will provide them with a quote and pair them with an agent in their area. If you need a quote, simply go to our agent finder tool (here is the URL: www.bondexchange.com/agent-finder), type in your zip code, click on a local agent, and submit a quote through their profile. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Good evening. I bought a vehicle with title but the prier owner singed the back side both lines, seller and buyer. I went to Connecticut DMV to try to register but they said the title is no longer good. Would the car title bond help me register the vehicle?
Hi Daniel, The Connecticut DMV States that "The owner or legal representative (with proper identification required) may apply for a replacement certificate of title if no lienholder was listed on the original certificate of title." If you have a bill of sale, and if there are no current liens against the vehicle, you may be able to apply for a bonded title. The application for a CT Bonded Title can be found at the following link: portal.ct.gov/-/media/DMV/20/29/H6Bpdf.pdf We would recommend checking with the DMV before applying for one. Hope this helps!
Hi I bought a car from a guy on fb market the problem is he got the title after we made deal I brought the car to my home and he supposed to send me the new title on mail but I have received it, I need to get me a title any tag the vehicle asap, he just send me some pictures of the tag and registration, what I can do on this case?
If the seller won't give you the title, then your best bet would be to obtain a lost title bond from the Alabama Department of Revenue. To obtain this bond, you'll need to submit a copy of the bill of sale from when you bought the car. The bill of sale must include the vehicle's VIN. You can apply for an Alabama Lost Title Bond at bonds.mvtrip.alabama.gov/Bond/Apply We wrote an article on how to obtain this bond which you may find useful. www.bondexchange.com/alabama-lost-title-bond-a-comprehensive-guide/
