I can only wish the very best for these guys in their journey towards God, but I find the Capuchins a particularly strange order given that what they are now is completely different to the intention and lives of the original Capuchins. That the original contemplative eremetical intent has been abolished raises questions about why Capuchins exist now at all - especially as they have reverted to being the very thing the reformers moved away from?
I remember visiting the Capuchin novitiate in Lawrence MA and St Anthony's Friary in Hudson NH back in 1971-1972...Fr Groeschel was vocational director.
Thank you for letting us meet these outstanding young men! I"m a Secular Franciscan with OLA in Burlingame and have so enjoyed meeting the guys whenever they are in town. Pace!
Lovely! I recognize that voice singing "The Heart of God's Love ." I listened to it for years while we co-taught our spiritual assistant training classes. It is evident that the novices have considerable talent. Thank you so much for sharing this. The East Coast Franciscans send love and prayers to all.
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! We loved every moment of it!! Such great talent and such joy!! Grammy said that anyone who sees this would definitely want to become a Capuchin 🤎 We love all of you and wish you a Blessed Christmas 🎄💝🌟
