Old time records are made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) which means they are inherently fire resistant. The effort to burn the records would be almost impossible and extremely unsafe to do it. AKA Disco Demolition

That’s such a powerful piece of music. I know it’s from Dvorak’s 9th Symphony “From The New World” but that arrangement for band is even better. Dvorak may have been Czech, but he wrote a truly American piece of music.
You don’t happen to know anyone that has the version of this with Earle Louder playing “Beautiful Colorado”? I used to have it but have misplaced it. Has about an extra 8 minutes as per this version.
I really enjoy this but I think, just as any other corps march, this should have a trio and ending!!! Or at least a trio! I feel like it has really cool themes and definitely feel some of the John Williams Star Wars motifs but I feel like it could have been widened by a really maestoso trio.
