To be honest after a put stop, the car can just be clean transparent and making the tires clean with best grip. The car can reset damage removing dents. I don't think we need the tape. The video is best! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I hate to be negative but the stage racing and all the changes that have been made has ruined Nascar as we know it. Know when to say when means nothing to them.
Those are called grill tape. More tape means more downforce and more stability but at the same time it increases your engine temperature so teams usually buts more tape when the weather is cloudy.
The last season of traditional pit stops before they went to the one lug nut tires. Nascar was the only company that uses normal wheels and now it’s no different than everywhere else
1. Cale Yarborough and Jimmie Johnson 2. Richard Petty 3. Kevin Harvick, Ryan Newman, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano 4. Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch 5. Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson 6. Junior Johnson 7. Charlotte Speedway (no longer exists) 8. 14 9. Joey Logano 10. Dale Inman 11. Hendrick Motorsports 12. Wake County Speedway 13. Jimmie Johnson 14. Chip Ganassi Racing 15. Dale Earnhardt Jr
The skill of these guys is SO underappreciated... I know Nascar has the whole "MURICA" vibe, but what these pit crews do is absolutely unmatched elsewhere in the world..
F1 pitstops are cool and all, but Nascar stops are WAY MORE impressive. So much more hectic running around the car, and a lot more opportunities to showcase talent. These guys are awesome.
With the single lug nut and a long list of other rules what is really the difference in Nascar and f1 at this point. It's all becoming the same boring stuff.
@@bobjones37450 well specifically with pit stops I still believe Nascar has an edge. Having a couple guys vs. a pit crew member for each tyre and jack is still pretty impressive.
Ha! I just watched the fastest from around the world and Italy takes the cake with 1.92 seconds in and out! Stunning. They got like 3 people on each tire and either 1 or 2 power jacks on front and/or back. 1.92 seconds!!! There's no comparison here.
