Hi, I have a Albin vega and I am planning to maybe buy a IW 31. I saw you made the same change so I wonder a bit about you experience as the size difference isnt that much (27->31 feet). What was better with IW ? What did you miss with Albin vega ? Best regards

anticolor Like you guys, I got my iw31 a couple of years ago. But have not been able to sail properly before this summer. There was a lost marriage, and my job in the Coast Rescue Service. Which made my sailing dreams difficult. But its all fine by now. And i stopped in the coast rescue service. So i got more out with my IW31(named LISTA) this summer. But therefore, I only sail coastal around Grenå/Denmark where I live. Maybe you also have a website or page on facebook like me??🤗 I love Bornholm, Gudhjem, Kristiansø and so on. I have there on camping, caravan with my family. But its my dream to go there with my boat one day... ⚓️⛵️☀️

in Dänemark.. mich wumdert es nicht, dass solche Mutationen auftreten, bei all dem Scheiss, der jahrzehntelang in die Ostsee verklappt wurde.. Die Schlange lag direkt am Strand und hat sich vor uns so gefürchtet, wie wir uns vor ihr..

thanks Marcin! Roztoka Odrzanska is my homewater, so I am there very often (based in Szczecin). Therer are not so many IW left, there were only one tenth of the amount of Albin Vegas.. I think the boat ist ideal for the region, because she is easy to tack with. Of course you have to be careful with 160cm draft.. but we sat on the mud with our Vega either.. Are you located in Stepnica with ELIN? ciao Matthias

Hi Guys! Very nice video. It looks like raw footage without unnecessary music and effects, but I especially love the sound and focus handling. It's absolutely amazing! I became the owner of an old tiny boat last year as well and had similar sailing experiences (Bornholm from Poland, Poland from Sweden). My home port is now Kamien Pomorski near Dziwnow, so I hope It will be opportuninty to meet you somewhere at the Polish shore during the coming season!
hi Piotr, thanks for your nice comment! We have some good memories of Kamien P., since we were there with our Albin Vega in 2016. Nice harbour and town! Now its too shallow for us to go there due to the deeper keel and from Wolin coming we would not pass the bridge ;) (Our homeport is Pogon/ Szczecin) - Have a nice wintertime!

Nice film Matthias, where do you find all of this free time to go sailing ??? I have trouble getting Michaela just to go to Pogon for the weekend ha ha ha. It looked a little cold/ungemütlich for me.
Hallo anti_color. Ich war schon auf einigen Rundtouren (Valle Maira, Via Alta Marittime, ...) unterwegs, die teilweise auf der GTA verliefen. Jetzt soll es die GTA selbst sein, von Campello Moni bis ich weiß noch nicht, 28 Tage. Ich freue mich drauf. Liebe Grüße und vielen Dank nochmal.
Nice trip and good Crew-) A few years ago on our Vega we've sailed from Sweden to Stralzund as well. We approached Nordufer Wittow und Hohe Dielen and then came to Sassnitz. After that to Newhof Marina and to Stralzund. Ruegen is beautifu place! Nice to remember and thanks for the video!
yes, she's in Black Sea now - Sevastopol, Crimea. One day we'll sail around the Baltic zee again - it's interesting area and a lot of things to see and explore with sailing boat.
Lovely video! I'm currently considering buying a Vega myself. A hand held VHF would be a good idea in case, for instance, one got stuck on a sandbank :)
+anti color Sie liegt derzeit in Holland. Dort haben wir sie auch gekauft. Werden sie dort zumindest erstmal 1-2 Saisons segeln. Aber wir möchten auf jeden Fall auch mal ein paar Jahre in der Ostsee segeln.
