I just watched My Darling Vivian and was searching your Grandpa. ( BTW I enjoyed My Darling Vivian, what a classy lady.). Wow, closing my eyes and listening to you is like I was listening to your Grandpa! God has blessed you with a singing voice!
I got chills all over, you're channeling your granddaddy so deeply. Its eerie almost. No, no one can ever be Johnny Cash but you sound amazing. You have that same deepness to your voice. ❤❤❤
It's more than just the Johnny Cash genes: Thomas---you can tell a story beautifully and that's why you and your Grandpa are so special. Your voices are magical and thank you for sharing your voice with us.
How much Thomas Gabriel sounds just like his grandpa Johnny Cash is haunting! This proves that the ability to sing like that is not only hereditary, but it skips a generation. Perfect example of this is look at the Hank Williams generations. Hank Williams III sounds and looks like Hank Williams Senior. Hank Williams IV looks and sounds like Hank Williams Jr. But he can also yodel and sounds like Hank Williams Senior. Hank Williams Jr. Would look and sound like his grandpa, if we knew him, and heard him sing. This worked for the Johnny Cash generations, and it also worked for the Waylon Jennings generations. Very very fascinating stuff for sure!
You guys are awesome. I know Johnny wasn't a saint and don't know how much you really want to imitate him. But for those of us who love Johnny's voice, we appreciate you guys.
the fact the guitarist on the left of Thomas plays the full song with his eyes shut tells you he is embracing the voice rather than the song and how alike it is
