Michelle has no inclination to run. We all know the strategy to combat that would be BHO third term. Trump already beat a former president's wife. RFK jr. Would be the Democrats best hope of beating Trump. Trump is popular because he is the anti-establishment candidate. They would have to run the Democrat version of Trump to have a prayer at this point. The Democratic party wouldn't allow it because they are the establishment party. If they did and did a 360 on strategy instead of attacking Trump they would have a candidate that could actually debate issues. It would have to be a civil election cycle that I think would be possible with RFK Jr. I think the two men have enough respect for one another that they could keep it civil. And that would be the Democrats best hope for beating Trump. But the Democrats have written off this election probably thinking let Trump have his 4 years and we can be done with him and focus on 2028.
She can 100% defeat trump, all she needs to do is dunk on trumps decrepit old mob boss wannabe ahh on the debate stage. Michelle Obama is a terrible pick to beat Trump, she's almost as disliked as Kamala Harris and people only know about her because she's Barack's wife. A much more logical pick would be Pete Buttigieg, who had a fairly strong campaign in 2020 and is the current Secretary of Transportation, he's one of the most genuine and level-headed politicians I've seen come about in my lifetime and I think he'd curbstomp Trump in an election.
