leon fought like a top 15 fighter, just a pathetic performance. for a champion, leon lacks the warrior heart, grit and determination like usman and poatan but i do believe leon had skills to defeat belal just lacks the confidence in himself. he folds under pressure easily and gives up on himself😂
@@MillerDC yeah I was listening to guru sperg out about the uk, I shouldve checked to see who else was live😂 Was a decent card, and Belal shocked me. I knew that was his pathway to win but I didnt think he would be so successful in the striking and the takedowns. He hardly got hit on the feet, and the last minute reversals were Leons only moments. Crazy
@@tarzanstrickland yup. Insane bro. Belal beat him in the striking department. That’s wild. U know I’m a Leon fan but for him to show desperation when it’s literally too late is disappointing. He landed some great shots with like 20 seconds left. It’s too late.
@@MillerDC Yeah id have to rewatch but I dont think it necessarily took him all those minutes with Belal on the back to work into those reversals. They were in the same relative position for minutes, then Edwards seemingly just chose to attempt a reversal at the very end of those rounds. He may have been able to do that sooner and taken the rounds with a reversal and landing the most effective striking with his elbows. It looked like he could have even gotten a tko if he continued with those elbows at the end of R5. Had he reversed sooner maybe he could have.
@@MillerDC the standup and takedowns surprised me though. Belal was piecing him up in the pocket😂 and those high elevated slams were crazy, legit ragdolling
