At the beginning of this year, I shifted my model from selling Course on Video Editing to Selling Service. I did this shift because I had the same perception that Online Course don't sell like before, Infact I am comfortable rendering service only now, my course is just on my site. But this video and the points you shared is giving me a rethink and I might still go back to launching and selling courses. By the way, I am guilty of point 3, will edit my course offer soon. Trevolearn.com Pros: - Platform markets courses for you, requiring minimal effort on your part. - Can be used alongside other platforms for additional marketing. - No hosting fees; platform earns a percentage from course sales. - Ideal for short or mini courses, mobile-friendly setup. Cons: - Specializes in short courses, requiring verification of expertise. - Requires demonstrable results for hosting mini-courses. - Not suitable for long-form or signature courses. 3. 2toor.com Pros: - Hosts and sells online courses, ebooks, etc. - Can integrate live sessions via Zoom or Google Meet. - Only incurs transaction fees upon making a sale. - Offers certificate issuance and multi-currency transactions. - Easy drag-and-drop interface. What about a situation where someone has already paid without going through the site to pay you, how then can you grant the person access to the course.
Reach out to coursebay support via Instagram or the site, they will walk you through that. Also, they're rolling out new updates. As soon as that drops I will do a video showing that step by step.
