So outha stun On your nicotine break We'll call and be my follow Wrap you in my chain I've got an elf If you're, giving up a ghost Well let me be the one who You wanna hurt the most And I... and I run..from your, Black Tongue Red water's dirty A slow and steady drain We'll open up your skullkeys Appeal to make you sane I've got an elf If you're, giving up a ghost I wanna be the one who, crushes you the most! And I... and I run..from your, Black Tongue I've got an elf If you're, giving up a ghost I wanna be the one who, haunts you the most Crawl into your skin and show you where I've been Let me be the one who Commits all your sins And I and I run..from your, Black Tongue Sounds like she is entangling someone to do something in some matter...and she seems strong. First line I am not sure about, rest I think is solid. Makes me think of a spiritual exercise
Came back for it...sooo lovely, raw and genuine. It ticks all my boxes!!! Gotta love heavy guitar on tubes, Bonham drums (! amazing, ghost notes, them drums are the gasoline on this song), tidy bass and kick ass female vocals
Man, if your music video is going to parody one of the all time classics of horror movies, one would assume the song would be much darker in sound and feeling, for it Vast Acid feels as though it is lacking any hint of true evil, it needs to be darker, and convey more of a malevolent feeling, with a sound composed of demonic stylings, while drenched in a significantly thicker layer of Satanism . . . just something MORE to make it darker!
This is actuially cooer than Chuck's original.....the roadside/park Xmas display is great. And the 1973 or 74 Dodge Lux Sportsman (pre pollution) Van is Priceless. We had a tradesmen we went got our tree every year.....
Damn what great sound this band has. Accidentally ran into "Heavy Blanket" while watching a skater video and was more intrigued by the song then the video, so I looked it up. Been hooked since and have had Heavy Blanket playing on a loop ever since. Lol
I saw RTH perform this song in Phoenix. It was Jill’s birthday and it was awesome to share my love of this band with a room full of people. One of the highlights of my life.
