I'm a little surprised by the Jundokan logo in the lower right, Taira Sensei left the Jundokan quite some time before this seminar, and this is not a Jundokan video.
I spent the summer in Forks Washington in 1976 and Dr Holmquist was the FIRST Chiropractor I had seen. When the summer was over, I needed to return to Oregon. I asked him, "Can I take you with me?" He replied, "In a way, you can. Let me show you a few ways that you can keep your back in shape". What a GREAT doctor! Thank you, Dr. Holmquist!!!
You know why aikidokas are never seen in the UFC? Because there are many many things better than to be fighting all the time for a piece of status and ego. Inner peace is more interesting to discover than hurt human beings.
English subtitles would be a valuable asset for this video. Much is lost in the find points Miyazato Sensei is making. One more thing...THIS is kata, NOT that performance art the WKF is so damn proud of.
Aikido, one of the most important martial arts in the world that should never die!!! I own copy of Aikido and the dynamic sphere by A. Westbrook & O. Ratti. Even highly offensive martial arts can learn from this gentle art!!!
A great man behind the show, Dr Karl you put a valuable work in front of all those who want to serve the humanity, I being a Homeopath an acupuncturist and cupping therapist not only learned the spinal adjustment in a very short time with so much in detail by going through your video demonstrations, I am really grateful to have this opportunity at my door steps, Its blessing. How many of the people should be benefited with this that goes to your credit. God bless you.
Just being a part of the motion is most grateful and to make a commitment and to owe my smooshin' life and honor and mostly in the motion with my barefeet smellin' Stinkin' toesies in smooshin' dedication taking a motion bow and mostly smooshin' most important thing is to be in my uniform 🥋👣💥😣👃🌳🌳🌲🌲🥋🥋 to mostly concentrate in making a commitment in the karate palace letting the damp air twinkle between my toes and to do my smooshin' karate duties
I wish a documentary about Aikido would start with actually explaining Aikido, Aikikai, and the different schools. Tired of being lumped in with Aikikai and Iwama all the time.
