Hello Friends, I'm Shelly and I like to Rescue, Renew and Repurpose new and used items. They could be destined to go to the trash pile, give away, yard sale or from a thrift store. I usually can see something different in the items and bring out a new beauty in them.
Currently, I live Off Grid in Maine on 12 acres with my Husband of 30+ years. Chickens are our animals of choice at the moment, but you never know what may be next. We started a channel on RU-vid called *Whiskey n Sunshine Off Grid* for gardening and Homesteading ideas, But I wanted to share my passion for Repurposing My Way separate from that channel.
I love being creative and sharing my ideas to help people find renewed love for their old tired items.
I hope this sounds interesting to you and you will stick around and see some different repurposed, renewed, diy's that inspire you.
I just saw Sandy’s video this morning when she made the candy canes. I love them. Yours were a bit different n I like that idea very much. I agree they make a great bowl filler. Your other crafts were very good too. Wonderful ideas. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍🌟
You did an excellent job designing your Christmas Crafts!! The lighted Tea Pot was so precious...actually everything you created my friend was so festive for the Holidays!! Thank you for such an encouraging Video to encourage us to "carry on" and start are Holiday creations! ~*Linda from Michigan*~
It is a mixture of instant coffee, cinnamon, allspice, & pumpkin spice, lots of spices and I use it to "grubby" age some of my projects. Here is the video on how I make it -ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nyN9zvyH05k.html
The candy canes are my favorite. I need to make some. I am going to come up with a way to put some peppermint oil on them too. Maybe put it on the dowel rod before the fabric. The teapot light is a great idea. Have a great week Shelly!
I really do like the candle and arrangement that you put in that tea pot. I have two that have no lids and you inspired me to do something with them. Thanks for your wonderful videos.
I love the Cardinals! What a great way to re-purpose Amazon bags! We get them pretty often at our house, and they've been going in the recycle bin. I'd much rather craft with them!
