Rolento is literally one of the best characters in the series. I've never understood why he isn't more popular; he's so cool! And... Ahem. Also kind of good-looking...
While I'm very pissed off at capcom for bring back M. Bison from the dead and should've left him dead. And I'm Super Pissed off that they brought in fatal fury characters instead of fighters I wanted like Fei long or Remy!! But I'm so happy that Elena is back after 10 years and still having her nature free attitude! and it's awesome that she is now wearing the traditional capoeira outfit now to match her fighting style so capcom at least did one good thing!
I like to think that Gargos is a pit fiend from the Nine Hells, out to win the Blood War and conquer the entire Planescape, and then he runs into a demon who's basically Orcus, Baphomet and Demogorgon all in one, and is just as evil as himself, but completely lacks any ambition beyond bashing the basher who tried to bash him.
I love that the same middle-eastern stringed instrument, a zither or something, appears in the theme songs of both Kan-Ra and his nemesis Aganos, as they battle each other all around the eastern Mediterranean region across multiple centuries.
It slightly annoys me that the far and away best, most epic and incredible piece of music in the entire Killer Instinct franchise belongs to a guest character from another property. Like I don't wish Arbiter's theme was less awesome, but couldn't Celldweller and AP have managed to take one character from the classic franchise (the unfortunate Riptor, perhaps, or Saberwulf or Glacius if you wanted a character who was in 2).and dialed them up to be just a little better than this? I'm just a little sad that there's a disconnect, that's all. It's still an amazing theme in an incredible game.
POISON GENDER EXPLANATION ⬇️⬇️⬇️ So since this is brought up about poison gender whenever there's a post about her let me explain it. We don't know the full story of her history. There's Capcom workers who said she was changed from a woman due to censorship and there's some who said she was meant to be transwoman from the beginning. And even some workers said the final fight manual calling her trans came for the home releases of final fight when she was changed, not the original arcade. Even the final fight designer said she's a woman, Even her creator akiman said on Twitter and in the SFxTekken artbook she's a woman in Japan but a trans in foreign countries But akiman restated and said her gender is up to the fans. Even Capcom decided to go along with it. That was the last time they brought up her gender. So pretty much her gender is whatever you want it to be. You can say she's a biological woman, trans, non binary or even a futanari lmao her gender is literally up to you. Which is good so no one can fight and everyone can be happy
Imagine 2025 EVO, the devs say theyre gonna announce a new character, the capcom logo flashes on screen before turning black and then you hear a woman sing "BEATS IN MY HEAD" and the entire croud goes crazy
Not gonna lie though, its a little triggering when people say that decapre is a cammy clone story wise, when decapre came first, and was an imprefect version of the testing that would eventually lead to cammy.
