@@poonzy7112 just replaced my first one after 8 month, but the second pair felt slower so i switched to obsidians, still quietest skates on the market for skypad tho

How the hell can you enjoy big surface area skates on a glasspad. It was inconsitent EXTREMELY scratchy and unpleasant to play on. The only way I could somewhat enjoy glasspads was dot obdisians. I still dont understand how people dont talk about the nightmarish experience with big PTFE skates. And the wear down ofc.
Damn...this would've been real dope if you did it with a glass pad. Looking into glass skates and can't really do that with a glass pad. Good video though - keep it up
the ones i used in the vid were full area, but i also tested dots afterwards cz someone sait they would be faster, but the full ones were still faster, on the skypad. It differs from pad to pad.
i use the skypadd XL arm sleeve, but i do not recommend it as it is to big for me and it is already falling apart. I ordered the pulsar sleeves. We‘ll see how they are.
7:23 If you actually use a hairdryer, you can directly heat the PTFE feet or Glass Skates to warm up the adhesive. That way you can perfectly take away each skates perfectly without damage. My eyes are aching watching you waste perfect skates. You didn't read enough in reddit to know that tip. Heckin painful.
great video. I'm alternating between games like overwatch and recently got into cs2. Would you still recommend the glass pad + skate combo for cs2? I'd really be curious on your thoughts on what worked for you when you played tactical shooters and how the transition has been to a glass pad. Some more insight on the comparison of glass skates vs the glass pad + skates. What were the differences and your preference.
I've found myself gravitating towards using a glass mousepad with sleeve while playing tactical shooters like VALORANT or CS2 with friends or just casual. It's become my comfort zone. But i do perform way better when switching to a cloth pad with glass skates, due to the stopping power and control. Even though i have not played on a cloth pad in a year, I'm instantly better than with all of my aim practice for my glass pad. Despite recently acquiring Clawmates (mouse accessory allows for more control and grip on the mouse), I'm struggling to consistently decelerate onto my targets with precision. It's evident that mastering this transition is crucial for maintaining accuracy and control during gameplay. so i would say depends on how serious u'r taking one or the other game and what feels more comfortable. like I don't care about VALORANT OR CS2 that much but about apex i do so I'm sticking with my glass pad and will try to master it.
yo, just a note, you shouldn't press down the skates hard on skates that do not have a thicker adhesive which prevents the skates to sink, especially on the top gpx skate. when skates skin in, you will see wear on the outer sides of the skates, while the center of the skates will not wear. especially on glass. most of the skates that you have gotten aren't the best aftermarket skates. top skates are xraypad jades/obsidians, tiger ice, corepad pros, ctrl, air, btl v2, and ultraglide(xraypad OEM) speed and controls. those 'expensive' skates u got are pretty bad, and they are not worth to get at all. Top skates I've used are xraypad obsidians for glasspads, and jades a close second, but it doesn't last as long. corepads and tiger ice are decent. tiger ice v2 'feels' slower because of the extra adhesive that stops it from sinking in at the center of the skates. I feel like ultraglide conventionals are one of the best skates I have tried so far on glass, especially their dot variants. full sized will feel smoother, and last longer because of their larger surface area.
are the xraypad jades or obsidians? also for the xraypad skates and the tiger ice did u use dots or full pads? im assuming full pads but im not sure, oh and are those tiger ice v1 or v2?
