I legit cried when I heard that she’s leaving the show next season! She brings something to the show that can’t be replaced! I just really hope they don’t kill her off!

I wondered the same and I've rewatched this scene a couple of times.. I don't know. I could imagine that they cut this part of the scene and somehow forgot to wipe out the blood?
It's because she is stressed, it's also because; as mentioned in the show, she didn't eat or sleep. When you do that you become really weak and get cuts and breaks in your skin very easily.

I used to love Lindsay because of how badass she was but damn, Upton is on another level of badass, she serious business when it comes to ger the bad guy, I remember that episode where he took down a guy twice her size, his name was Booth I believe, anyway, she is the most badass cop lady I've ever seen.

You mean the one „interrupting“ her panic attack? That’s her boss. But you’re right, she does have a dysfunctional past and also daddy issues 🙈 it’s complicated. But prior to this episode something traumatic happened and I personally blame her boss. It’s a longer story, cute I can only recommend the show ✨♥️ and the other one, comforting her, is her fiancée.

This scene is the end of episode 4 in season 9 - unfortunately, there's no continuation to this scene because the last two episodes focused solely on Kevin and Adam respectively, however in episode 5 it is hinted, that they talked all night. Hopefully, next week's episode will tell us more.

Watching this I noticed that even when Hailey said to Voight that he was right, that she wasnt like him, that she cant handle it, he keep going with his plan of getting Roy killed that night. And even when I dont like Voight's character and I dont agree with his actions, I see why some people are defending him and what they want to show us. He warned Hailey about this dark side she was falling into, thats why he sent her to fbi, he cares about her (in a twisted way in my opinion, because we cant deny he is abusing his position of power and the trust they put on him). I think last season with Jay at her side she came back to be who she was before, when she came to the Unit and now she is in this messy and complicated situation ... but she has to let Jay in, of course is not easy, she is used to carry her problems alone but now she has Jay with her and yes, he is the only one who can help her through this. In other hand, he has all the right to be not mad (I feel he wont be mad at her) but dissapointed maybe? i dont know how he will react to this secret, they will be fine at the end but I dont know what to expect on the upcoming episodes
That is so true. This Episode brought up so many feelings tbh and thinking back to season 7, where Voight and Hailey had this intense conversation (which I really liked - especially his concern) it was just hard so see his prediction coming to life. I really enjoyed Jay punching him for it but I'm also at the point where I'm not blaming him 100% (maybe 95% because he is in fact their boss and she was just trying to protect him). Voight just went overboard with the whole Roy situation and I think that is the point why so many people are pissed at him. He saw that she was spiraling down and he had the chance to stop her from completely losing her mind (even though the shoot alone wasn't unjustified) but he didn't. I'm also super curious about what will happen in the upcoming episodes. I can see Jay being disappointed and maybe even a little bit angry because she thought she couldn't be honest with him. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a rollercoaster.
@@NessaManhattan oh dont get me wrong i'm pissed at him too, as you said he couldnt end this, but he didnt. In 8x16 at first Voight wanted to get the location of Burguess and then once Jay and Kevin found her and Hailey begged for him to stop he didnt listen to her because the only thing in his mind is revenge, Roy deserved paid for what he did ... and it reminds me to this idea of "home" that someone said in an interview, i dont remember who said it, like the Unit is his family. And yes that punch was very very well deserved it, that was such a disrespectful comment about his fianceé! but yeah he is still their boss and I wonder if there will be consequences? this will affect the whole Unit but idk we will have to wait ... also this is only the beggining of the season, who knows where will we end up with all of this

Especially because he seemed to be the same Voight as season 1 and I really thought he grew out of this revengeful thinking, especially after what happened to Olinsky 🙈 But besides that, Roy deserved what he got 🤷 Yes, let's see. I was a little disappointed tbh that they only mentioned this situation for a few seconds in this weeks episode 🙈 But I have to say that I enjoyed Kevins episode ❤
