I bought the first gen LWTS pas-13G back in 2015. Is the new Gen LWTS-LR any better as far as image quality? It’s hard to tell in the video. Your thoughts? I’ve used the hell out of mine and it is still running like a champ. Without question the most versatile night optic I have owned. I am looking at the Quadro-S fusion sight. Too bad there isnt an LWTS fusion sight
Are you speaking in general or about these targets specifically? With these targets you can see both your poi and impact ( caliber and imager may play into how far away it is visible)
It is .55 moa per "click". But I do a mathematical zero at an extended distance via a ballistic app and hold over accordingly. I have measured the reticle in mils....and apply.
Great Job! Nice shooting. This unit is my 3rd thermal and for the money I like it. The other 2 are Reap IR and PTS 233. Only down fall is lack of audio.
@@sethlampman7646 the video is pretty close. It appears to be slightly out of focus. The ring on the front will do a near and far focus. The biggest down fall I have found with all thermal units is humidity. High humidity will give a grainy image. A dry day it looks great a touch better detail than this video. Hope this helps.
Right is the image quality on a pulsar xq 50 much better being a 380 processor? I will be buying 1 of these scopes in a few days want to be sure its worth the almost 4k you haveto give?
@@sethlampman7646 I have never used one so I can't say for certain. I thought I saw a video on you tube were a guy compared all these units. Just watch as many videos on each as you can to make the best decision. I am lucky because my dealer will let me do free demos that helps me decide between models. See if you have a dealer locally that will let you look through them at or around the store. Good Luck! I will say this more zoom will give you a better image but at a loss of "field of view". Seams like there is always trade offs. I like having different magnifications depending on the range I intend to scout or hunt.
Innovative design to say the least. I don’t see too many thermal shooters “plinking” for fun, my thermal rig runs $1.00 per trigger pull with the ammo I sight in for hunting. Have you guys considered a “sight in” target with a grid adjustment overlay?
