Lovely bass tone. Really beefs the sound up. Sounds a different, much heavier beast. But yeah, at the expense of making james sound like he in an echo chamber in a great big aircraft hanger singing about 50 metres away from the rest of the guys....
Honestly, how it should have sounded. Love ajfa in terms of songwriting (I think it’s some of their best and haven’t really matched it since) but the tone, idk. Just feels so dense and flat compared to all their other albums. But this version fucking bangs 🤘🏼
