Welcome to Mac SOG Adventure International, my name is Robert De Castro. This channel is dedicated to my 12" inch 60's and 70's GI Joe and Action Man hobby. Our Content covers primarily video dioramas and fan films utilizing figures from my personal collection. Most of the custom outfit sets and vehicles you see on my videos were all created by me. My approach to the look of my videos is "retro mod style", basically capturing the 60's and 70's esthetics of the Hasbro and Palitoy GI-Joe and Action Man toys with an infusion of modern day elements. I invite you to explore our growing library of videos where we take vintage toys and tell new and exciting stories with them for all audiences.
No female figures on this one, but for my other videos I use Group Action Joe (Hasbro licensed GI Joe in Europe) Action Girls (Super Peggy & Super Sandy) exclusively. They're on the rare/hard to find side so they're not often seen in collections. I like them because they are the only figures (imho) that are from the 70's that have a direct lineage to GI Joe besides the 60's Hasbro nurse. Their bodies are like the 70's muscle bodies accept in female form complete with their version of the kung-fu grip.
By the time I was old enough to play with GI Joe, adventure team had come out. You nailed it. All the gadgets of the team just mesmerized me. The hours of playtime that even one created was incredible. Great memories.
Thank you Walter, toy lines came and went, and the classified series is the flavor of the day but, to me nothing will ever top the classic GI Joe Adventure Team line.👍💯
Hasbro did a set of 12 inch Universal monsters including 2 different mummies, a wolf man, Frankenstein and his bride. Skull Reviews has videos on some of them. They're built on Hall of Fame bodies, so they're a bit too buff, but still pretty cool.
Hey brother Gi Joe Eddie epic adventure here awesome video brother amazing figures, Greg did awesome job on the wolf man figure killer haul God bless you and your family hope everything is going great for you today 😮😮😮🤯🤯🤯🤔🤔👍👍🤜🤛🍻 God bless Gi Joe Eddie epic adventure over and out 😎👍
I've given up on them long ago, as far as they're concerned us 12" joe collectors are in the "endangered species list" and are no longer viable as a target audience.
Awesome video good ol Cotswald can't go wrong I like ordering from them that motor cycle officer and bike is a great find they camando looks great and the wolf man you got him in time for Halloween and last but not least congrats on 700+ subscribers I'm glad I'm one of them 👍👍
Hey thanks man, this was just actually a trade I did with Greg at Cots. You can see my official show haul here 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-osvPSKOyJiA.html 🙏
The officer’s look is kinda like the chrome Terminator in the face 😀. That wolf man is just brilliantly flocked, wow! In many of your videos you have nice backdrops and dioramas to support your stories. Do you have a really large area to keep them all or do you do a lot of tear down and reimagining? I would like to start making videos telling a different type of Adventure Team story at a different scale. Just not sure if my story is too big lol 😂
We have a small bonus room that I use to film my stories/dioramas. My toy shelves are setup so I can pull figures, accessories, and set pieces easily. So my Joe room looks like a studio warehouse, industrial but has a fun vibe. My advise for making videos is to start small, and work up to bigger, better setups and stories. It will also give you time to get use to things and learn new tricks, this also prevents you from getting overwhelmed.
Hey brother Gi Joe Eddie here awesome video I really enjoyed it awesome and amazing figures they're so cool thanks for the update awesome job on the amazing haul you picked up God bless you and your family hope everything is going great thank you again Gi Joe Eddie epic adventure over and out 😎🍻🤜🤛
This looks super cool. ❤ is there a company that makes replica old school Joes? Or do you have to source those out by buying older beyond clean ones? I still have older clothing sets I wouldn’t mind putting on display with my Adventurer. Cheers!
Yes, go to Cotswold Collectibles and check out their Elite Brigade line. They are the only company around that still produces reproductions of the 60s'70's GI Joe figures.
Well, I got most of them for a steal and it's pretty much my purchases for the better part of this year. So, in other words, I held of buying anything months before and splurged at the show and it's been years since I been to a GI Joe show. So really my budget isn't that much more that most folks 😅😅🙏✌
WOW!! That is a AWESOME Haul!!! The core drilling vehicle is super cool, I tip my hat to Jim on that one!! Congrats Sir! Can't wait to see what you do with all those goodies!
Hey Robert, you scored some amazing items. I wish I could have gone there. The Super Joe plane, just clean it in my opinion because it has its own story. Great haul!
