Because the wing is self-sufficient in pitch movement, and the tail is not needed.

@@oscarcortesdiaz9772 speed limitations are the same structural as for any other hang glider. You can put two jets on any hg wing but drag will stop you at one point. We agree on that right?

In germany they call them Drachen. New ones about 4500 eur but you can find used for even less than 1000. Just make sure to get lessons for obvious reasons, and don't buy anything om your own (instructor will tell you what to buy)

We put it away for the first flight with landing on a sailplane as I was a bit worried about crashing with the plane's tail. Just a precaution that was actually not needed.

Keel stinger is basically a rigging aid, and a landing insurance for the tip wands and battens. You can fly and land without one tbh
