Javier Pérez Garrido has been awarded more than 30 prizes, including the Hollywood Music in Media, the Global Music, Akademia Music or Jerry Goldsmith Awards, among others.
Music institutions and musicians around the world, such as the World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles (WASBE), the International Trumpet Guild, the European Union Youth Wind Orchestra, the Banda da Armada Portuguesa or the Spanish Navy Band, have commissioned him to write new pieces, some of them premiered in European as well as American and Asian countries, published and recorded (Molenaar, etc.)
As a clarinetist, he played with the EUYWO, the ONO, the JONDE or the OJRM, among others, and as a soloist we can highlight his performance at Fifteen Minutes of Fame, New York.
He has conducted several orchestras, bands and choirs in Madrid, Valencia, Murcia, Toledo, etc.
Currently, he is professor of composition at Conservatorio Superior de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain.
